Ideal for short stay. Safe parking and friendly staff

The hotel is in a rather run down area, but the car park is secure and there are good bus services nearby which take you into the city centre. The rooms were clean with the exception that the teacups in the room were dirty. The staff were pleasant and helpful

Sadly we were unable to go to the hotel on the day due to illness, so cannot give a proper review. However, when I called to let them know, the receptionist Caitlin was so kind, polite and efficient in dealing with an annoying situation, us cancelling when we should have been arriving. Thank you Caitlin for your kindness.

Great spot & secure parking available

24/7 staff available asked for double bed - joined 2 single beds - not comfortable shared bathroom

For us this was a surprisingly ideal stop on the way to the IOM ferry. Despite being at a busy junction, good double glazing made it quiet. There was secure parking for our car and the ebikes loaded on it. It was not attractive from the outside and getting to it from the opposite side of the road involved an illegal u-turn or a diversion to come from the right direction! We were let in cheerfully by the person on duty. The room was clean, comfortable and functional. There was a small communal kitchen with microwave, fridge and freezer. Although not en-suite there was a sink and shower in the room, few fellow guests, and the full facilities across the corridor were, effectually, ours. No food was served but there was a Tesco nearby with a cafe for breakfast. It was near to the ferry port but don’t rely on any signage to help you find the IOM ferry - that’s another story!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Liverpool Gateway B&B. The staff were incredibly friendly, my room was a good size and there was nowhere else in the city that could touch it for value. Parking was hassle free and I'd definitely book a room in future.

Basic no toilet in room but clean staff helpful,but for the price great

Bad bed and had no sink. It had 24 hr security and you could come home anytime during the night.

Only stayed the 1 night was perfect for what i wanted, safe parking rooms were spotless and only 5 mins taxi to town centre will definitely stay again
