Lovely welcome on arrival, rooms were spacious and clean - restaurant was lovely would definitely stay again.

Key card to the room did not work on about 4 separate occasions, the curtain rail in the room was broken, slow service (e.g. waited over 4 hours after requesting additional pillows). Perfectly functional but nothing more than that.

Anniversary 2 night stay with my wife ruined by poor customer service at reception . Original room changed after complaining of a bad smell (sick aroma)in the room on check in.After raising our dissatisfaction with the hotel reception team leader/manager he moved our room.Our next room was on the 9th floor opposite the roof of a building under major construction. This meant being woken at 7.00 am with builders starting work with noisy machinery.Curtains could not be opened as builders work at our window height only about 20 m away. I made reception know about these major issues in the morning after our first night .The lady on reception remarked if I was not happy to speak to the manager again, but as he was the person who put us in this totally unacceptable room I did not see the point in further disruption during my anniversary stay. I am also an AI member that says you get perks as a member of this hotel chain, certainly not in my case !

Excellent stay, room was ready early. Very clean and everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant and that was nice. Breakfast was good. Pool was an added bonus. In a great location near Liverpool One.

I have never ever stayed at a hotel where the "bar" closes at 10pm, and then the staff send you away when you just want to sit down and have a chat with your family. Because they are gonna "prepare for the breakfast service". Because we stayed in separate rooms. Totally unacceptable. I have never ever in any of my hotel visits not been able to sit at the reception / bar area. Not a 4 star hotel in my opinion. And besides that, the "air conditioning" was not working. It was way too warm in the room even now in november. Unfortunately not coming back.

Nice friendly and helpful staff. Clean and good room. Very quiet - unfortunately the restaurant was too quiet although the fish pie on the night we dined in was excellent. Great position and will definitely stay again when I come next year with my husband.

During my recent stay at the Novotel, I experienced a wonderfully tranquil environment. The staff were both accommodating and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout my visit. My room was meticulously clean and comfortable, and I thoroughly enjoyed utilizing the gym facilities. Additionally, the hotel's location proved ideal for shopping and exploring the vibrant city of Liverpool. I look forward to returning on my next visit to the area.

Great central location. Good pool and breakfast selection. Not pleased about the lack of housekeeping as we were staying for 2 nights. We raised this at reception but NO action was taken. Also, service at reception is extremely slow. We checked in online but it still takes ages when you get there.

The rooms were very dull. The remotes for the tvs were not working, toilets were in bad shape. Overall not really what was adveristed
