Good stay

Didn't like having to pay £5 to park overnight. Hotel needs revamping. Room spartan in extreme.

The hotel in itself is alright. On the website, it did mentioned that parking was included with the property, but when we went to the reception, we were asked to pay a parking fee of £5 for the night, which sucks.

first impression were poor because as you walked into the foyer it definitely needed refurbishment, the carpet was dirty with chewing gum embedded into the carpet. The woodwork needed staining and interior walls needed painting. The bedroom was clean & functional also the bathroom but again it is in desperate need of refurbishment.

Initially booked a room with two double beds, but upon arrival, I was informed they didn’t have any available. Instead, they placed me in a room with two single beds. When I requested a change, they moved me to a room with one single bed and one double bed. Unfortunately, the room’s condition was extremely disappointing. It seemed like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in months—there were cobwebs in the corners, and the mirror was so dirty that you could barely see your reflection. The bathroom was in an appalling state, with mold covering parts of the tiles that had turned black. The towels weren’t folded properly, making me wonder if they had been used previously or if housekeeping was simply careless. When I requested an iron and ironing board to press my shirt, I was given a broken board that wouldn’t stand upright and a small travel-sized iron. To make matters worse, the ironing board cover was filthy and torn, leaving me no choice but to abandon the idea of ironing altogether. Even if I had decided to proceed, the only way to use the board would have been by placing it on the bed or sitting on the floor. Adding to the frustration, the sign outside the hotel clearly advertised “free parking.” However, when I went inside, I was told I had to pay £5 per night for parking. Apparently, the “free parking” only applied if you booked directly through their website. Because I booked through Hotels.com, I was charged for parking. This is blatant false advertising!

We arrived to a dirty room that smelt of damp. We spoke to management on the front desk and they apologised and took us to another room which was just as dirty. Carpet clearly hadnt been vaccumed. Toilet had stains and dirt on the bedding. They promised me a refund which i am yet to see still!

Good value, but very badic Ultra small pillow and cobwebs in the bathroom!

Niveau rapport qualité prix on est dans les clous. Niveau hygiène.. cest pas tout à fait ça.. Poils dans la salle de bain, bouchon de bouteilles en dessous du lit, traces suspectes sur les murs de la salle de bain.. Niveau restauration, infecte.. Que ça soit le plat ou le dessert cest vraiment tres mauvais (et pourtant nous ne sommes pas difficiles). Du réchauffer sans même prendre la peine de faire une mise en assiette correct.. Le rapport qualité prix du restaurant de l'hôtel n'y est pas du tout ! Sinon en avantages.. Le personnel est souriant et sympathique, et il y a tout autour en cas de besoin (sauf transports en communs)

Very old tired building and needs an update. Poor cleanliness. Considering it’s a service hotel stay was quiet.

Absolutely horrified with the condition of my room. When complained, I was told all rooms have been taken and gentleman at counter said he’d raise a complaint (which nobody has got back to me about).

Convenient. Quick check in with friendly staff. Quiet hotel despite being a Saturday night. Clean room snd bathroom. Free parking. Good value.

Very good staff

Friendly staff and good breakfast. Unfortunately the rooms are a bit dated and the matresses horrible. No shower gel in the bathroom.

Very glad the hotel was open on Christmas Day and at a good price. Staff were essentially efficient. View from the room was of bins. There was a whiff of urine in the corridor the first evening. Breakfast ok but no, bringing the eggs (however fresh) to the table a few minutes after we've collected everything else isn't on! We stated for 2 nights. Coffee, tea and milk in the room were not restocked. The towels we'd left in the floor to be replaced was not touched. Beds not the most comfortable and duvets could do with being larger but can't complain too much, at the price.
