All staff were friendly. Car parking was a bonus. Loved the breakfast and the view from the comfortable room. Would stay again. Almost right by main dockyard gate and a few minutes to the station and Gunwharf.

We had a lovely break at this hotel. It is in an excellent location close to the historic docks and many restaurants. The tower is also local and well worth going up. The staff are amazing. Jeremy clearly works so hard and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfasts were fab too and as a coeliac needing gluten free it was an extra special treat as they have GF cereals as well as part cooked breakfast and kippers too.

Great location overlooking the Hard, our room had a view of The Warrior ship and we could watch all the comings and going’s on the harbour. Walking distance to Gun Wharf Quays and about 15 mins to the Old Town. Great breakfast and lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for us. On site parking which is the icing on the cake .

Thoroughly enjoyed my time at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful when I had any questions.
The hotel itself is in a great location for Gunwharf Quays and the Historic Dockyard.

This hotel had lots of good features:
- Easy parking ('though locked at night so have to request access);
- Great breakfast
- I had a very comfortable bedroom with harbour views.
- Excellent location: right opposite a main transport hub and close to tourist attractions
- Helpful staff
The only areas for improvement - in my opinion - are:
- The shower - which was very good - did not have a soap/shampoo holder. This is not unusual but I have to ask why?
- The lack of a 'Do Not Disturb' sign for the bedroom door
However, my main issue - hence the 4-star rating - is that there is no separate bar area. The hotel website does state that it has a "fully licensed bar" but, unfortunately, it is located in the main reception area so is not at all relaxing (as a solo traveller I felt somewhat 'exposed' so had to take my drink to my room).
