Stunning room, clean, spacious and the bathroom was out of this world, great view, staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely top marks, couldn’t fault my stay there and I’m definitely going back very soon, well done Ship Leopard hotel. Many many thanks

This is a lovely old building is close to everything on the sea front - 5 minutes walk to the Historic Dockyard (it has close views of the Spinnaker, the harbour, and HMS Warrior). The bus and train stations are across the road, and the shopping centre is no more than 10 minutes away. Add the free car park, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and comfortable rooms, plus the big choice of places to eat within half a mile, and you have the ideal hotel to stay in when visiting the Portsmouth area.

Where to start? Very welcoming and friendly greeting/check-in. The room was beautifully clean, as was the bathroom. It was cold outside but warm inside. When I went down to breakfast, another warm and friendly greeting, and the breakfast was very good. It was all so good my family (who joined me the day after I arrived) and I have decided we will go back again in the spring. Thank you all for a great visit.

Beyond impressed with everything about this hotel. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was warm, comfortable, stylish and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great, cooked to order with a good selection, the waitress was very polite. Parking was so easy and the location was great, so easy to get to gunwharf quays and the harbour literally a few minutes walk away. Overall great customer service which went above and beyond, offering a value you don’t get with larger chain hotels. Excellent value for money. We will book the same hotel again next time and I definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Beautiful boutique hotel, GREAT staff and location. Room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was delicious, with the usual selections PLUS a cooked-to-order hot traditional English breakfast with a beautiful room to enjoy it in, and wonderful staff members to serve you. Front desk staff were very helpful to arrange transportation to Heathrow. A wealth of restaurants and shopping just a short walk away, as is the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and the train station. A wonderful stay and I will return! DEFINITELY recommend.

Great little boutique hotel opposite train station and close to shops and bars and restaurants at the pier. Parking on site a big plus Our room had a view over the river which was great.Room was very comfortable and clean. They only serve breakfast but plenty of dining options very close by.

Corner location makes it convenient but noisy at night with 3 pubs nearby. Walk almost anywhere in short order. Out room was very larger and the bathroom the largest in our entire UK visit!
