This was our 2nd stay when visiting Portsmouth for gigs. The hotel team are always very freindly and helpful. The breakfast is always good with good selection of fruits and juices to compliment ( if you actually have room). Free parking on a 1st come basis. All in all a great place to stay when in Pompey!

Easy check in. Arrived nearly 2 hours early. Room and parking was available. Staff helpful. Room clean. Breakfast was excellent - very well cooked and presented. Location perfect for us visiting the dockyard and shopping outlet.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Room was a deluxe king harbour view. Room was very spacious and bathroom was beautiful with an excellent shower.
Rooms do need attention, the carpet in room 15 was very stained. The grand looking double doors to the bathroom didn’t shut and the lock was broken. The shower was very good.
There is no air con, which isn’t great when the sun shines directly at the room for most of the day. It was not a comfortable sleep on a hot night. The bed was comfortable but the bedding and sheets were the absolute worst I’ve ever encountered in any hotel, they were polyester like and felt extremely cheap. This made sleeping on a hot night even worse. The included breakfast was a welcome addition however the produce was of poor quality, such as the catering style sausage and bacon and the extremely salty kippers. The poached eggs however, were exceptionally good. Overall we had a nice two night stay, unfortunately coinciding with the hottest day of the year. This shows why a standard hotel with air con (Premier Inn?) should be the preferred choice to a Boutique Hotel which needs to upgrade.

When visiting Portsmouth this properties location in between the Historic Dockyards and Gunwharf Quays meant that for our three day stay we could easily walk to all of the major attraction. The fact it has its own car park was also a plus although you could easily travel there by public transport due its close proximity to the bus and rail stations. The staff were very helpful even finding some Marmite for my breakfast toast. One note it is is located on a busy corner so traffic noise can be a little intrusive, but not to bad.

Nice boutique hotel right next to the Naval Dockyards, ferry terminal to Gosport and the railway/bus depot. Very convenient for the outlet shopping centre and Spinnaker Tower
so a great base for a visit to Portsmouth. Rooms were very nice and well maintained.

The location is unbeatable for the historic dockyard (30 mtr) and gunwharf quay and rail station.
Good breakfast nicely cooked and tasty.
The rooms are to a modern decor with fans for the heat, as there is no air con. We had room 25 which is small, but adequate. The bathroom is the smallest I have ever had with a basin that is tiny. Good shower cubicle that takes most of the space.
We would stay there again but not in 25.

Le personnel très attentionné et la situation géographique tant pour visiter que pour la gare de train. Le petit déjeuner est bien.
Le lit (matelas et oreiller) ont besoin d'être renouvelés. Pas de climatisation et un seul petit ventilateur. À cette période c'est OK mais je ne voudrais pas y séjourner l'été.

Short walk from Portsmouth Harbour & Gunwharf Quays. Single bedroom (No/32) was cosy & bijou, with side view of harbour. Furniture needs a little refresh/repaint but was pretty. Bathroom was modern & large, and so was shower. Breakfast was served at ground floor near reception, which made it friendly & personal, and it was a lovely situation. Plenty of selection. A pleasant stay.
