Great location

Large car park. There is a small table in the reception area with a bell to call for service, which we did. After several minutes a young lady came running into the area and told us to follow her, to check in. We were lead to the main bar area, however there was no record of our booking, which was a concern to say the least. I was asked what type of room we’d booked, when we booked it. I showed my confirmation number, eventually we were given a room. After conferring with a senior member of staff,It transpired that there had been a change in ownership in April time, so my booking was on ‘the old system’. The issue was resolved quickly, which was good, but still caused some angst. We were told there were issues with the WiFi… the signal and reception were non existent. The room was clean, but basic. The bathroom door stuck and would not shut. There was no hairdryer. I did manage to get a hairdryer in the end. I reported the door, it did not really bother us that much, but if it was pushed shut, it was impossibly to open. The food in the restaurant was ok. I had fish and chips, the fish had been put on top of the chips, making then soggy. The most disappointing thing was getting back to the hotel bar at about 22:40, after the wedding we had been to, seeing 3 people sitting there with virtually full pints, and being refused service. Even as residents. Overall it’s an ok place, the outside area is a bit scruffy. Seem to be quite short of staff.

Had a lovely 5 night stay. Perfect location next to waterway. Staff excellent and friendly. Lovely breakfast.

The staff are helpful at all times. The decor is homely. And we always feel welcome. This place is hospitality at its best.

Over-priced and generally mediocre. Horrible sponge pillows. Reasonable bed. Utilitarian feel and quality.

Very welcoming,good food served in a professional way ,staff very smartly dressed.Bedrooms clean and tidy..Somewhere you could recommend.Would definitely stay again when in Norfolk.

Hotel generally was good and the staff were excellent. However there were ongoing issues with supplies that affected our stay. The breakfast was disappointing. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

Our fourth visit to this hotel with new management now in place the food selection was not as good as normal just hope things improve again the staff were great and work hard and very friendly and helpful and pleased to make your stay memorable, looking forward to our next visit.

Last minute booking. We were greeted by friendly helpful staff . The room was nice, it was clean and had everything we needed. We dine, or have breakfast but from what we could see it looked good. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others.

Great location to visit the broads and the coastline. Room was clean and peaceful with a lovely comfy bed. Excellent staff who were very warm, friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend.

Parking was perfect, the bar was comfortable. The restaurant food was extremely pleasant the bed comfortable and room quiet

The location of this hotel is excellent. The staff are helpful and friendly. We did find that the evening meal was VERY expensive. The room was pleasant and quiet. Plenty of car parking. The main issue was the bathroom, which really lets the room down. The shower head had no bracket to sit in (although the staff had ordered the part and it did arrive 2 days after we arrived). The sink had a glass shelf immediately above it, which is not a good place to position a shelf for teeth cleaning etc. The shower cubicle had a door which opened outward into the bathroom, just where guests enter the room. The toilet handle was positioned close to the wall, making it difficult to flush. Generally, the design of the bathroom just hadn't been well thought out. Maybe hotel management should sleep in their rooms, to test them out, before inviting guests to stay.

This pub/accommodations staff are always friendly. Polite and helpful. The rooms for staying overnight etc, are clean comfortable and have good facilities. It is a pleasure to go there. There is lots of little separate rooms. Out door spaces and great food. Cooked and served to perfection.

Chose this hotel purely on location and wasn’t over impressed with the experience. Although happy that young staff were learning on the job, I was disappointed with the curt, ‘take it or leave it’ attitude from a senior staff member when asked a question.

I stayed here around 3yrs ago and it was lovely and staff couldn’t do enough for you however ! on return it seems to have changed somewhat with a more laid back approach to customer service.. Check in was fine and very professional but the evening staff are very unprofessional as when we was shown to our table to eat and sat down there was no table laid and two glasses that were filthy. We was asked if we wanted a drink
