Great hotel with large rooms and very comfortable. It is very walkable and also it is easy for taxis / shuttles to get to since it is not too far into the pedestrian area (still within the old city and very close to lots of shopping and restaurants).

Really enjoyed my stay at the Palace Hotel. I walked the wall around Lucca my first day. Went to the Opera performance, took a guided tour of the town. Plenty of small interesting shops.

This was an extremely easy property to find. The location is very close to the old city wall which is a walkable path. The staff was helpful, when we needed some food stored in a refrigerator. The kitchen staff provided a very nice breakfast daily with many options that suited both American and European tastes. Breakfast cappuccinos were delicious each day.

The staff was very helpful and personable. My room was spacious, the bed was firm and the pillows were too flat and firm, and I like flat pillows. The breakfast was wonderful, a large variety of baked goods, hot/cold proteins ,and fruits.

A smiling friendly welcome, spotlessly clean large room with a super comfy bed and a spacious bathroom with excellent big shower. What more do you need.
Lovely property in the old town only a short walk from the railways station. Ideal for exploring or relaxing.
Nice little bar on site to with a good selection of drinks including local artisan beers.

I had a wonderful weekend in Lucca and I was very happy with San Luca Palace. I work online and for me the quality of wifi is the top importance and unfortunately quite often although the hotel website indicates they have wifi the quality would be very poor and I would not be able to do my work properly and would get anxious about it. Wifi was working very well, staff was helpful and the room was spacious. I look forward to being back to Lucca and staying in San Luca Palace. Thank you!

This was a great find. The hotel was wonderful ( but i didn't like my pillow) and Lucca is just marvelous. I want to give the hotel and location great raves though i would prefer it to be the best kept secret. Wonderful medieval village and concierge Simon could not be more helpful. What a gentleman! Also. the breakfast was absolutely awesome!

San Luca Palace Hotel was very nice. The best part of it was that it had Disabled Accessible bathroom in my room. There was ample room for me to maneuver wheelchair safely. I really appreciated that I had my own accessible bathroom, and my husband had his own bathroom. The only downside about the bathroom is that it lacked safety grab bars.
Luca was a lovely town to visit and wander. It's proximity to Florence and Pisa or ideal.
I would definitely stay at that hotel and come back to visit Luca. (I may bring safety grab bars to gift the hotel when I visit again.)
