Great hotel - room was lovely - bed

For reference, we are a young couple and are well travelled. I can't recommend this hotel enough honestly. - Staff: SO FRIENDLY! So informal, helpful, funny, and trying their best to help customers. Every staff member was smiling and just awesome! Kudos to the hotel management for training such an amazing staff. - Room: super clean, we checked the toilet, shower and for dust, but it was clean and sorted. The esthetics were cute and home-like. The shower is HUGE! There are hot waters "on command". The bed is amazing, the pillows were slightly too soft for me but it's just a personal preference. The room is huge btw! I recommend to upgrade to the bigger room if possible! - breakfast: the eggs are soooo good! And the rest of the food was good as well. - Facilities: the hotel has a nice sitting area to relax, drink coffee, inside cafe and outside area. Overall, I can't recommend this hotel enough especially thanks to the staff, 100% will come back and would recommend this to friends and family

Shower has mold, staff none existent. The only thing it has going for it is breakfast and parking. Which was expensive but necessary when traveling with family for a month.

Loved my stay at The Hoxton Florence. Beautiful design, super comfy rooms, and such a relaxed, cool vibe throughout the hotel. The staff were genuinely friendly and made everything feel effortless. Great location too—close to everything but still calm and quiet. Stylish without being pretentious. Would 100% stay here again.

I love the Hoxton Hotels. Properties are clean, comfortable and have a very young vibe. The bars are really good as well. The bed was very comfortable.

The room was beautiful and clean and soundproof! The staff were amazing and went out of their way to help us when we discovered we had left our passports in Bologna

In peak winter when it's about 0 or - degrees, the AC/heating in the room need to be kept on like 28 degrees for the temperature in the room to be nice, especially at night. Or ask for another duvet. Depends on each person's tolerance for heat and cold though I guess.

Lovely decor but bed was very noisy and very close to the entry door to the room. Hotel layout is disjointed compared to other Hoxton’s which makes it feel more private but takes away that typical buzz

We had a wonderful stay at The Hoxton Florence. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was spotless and beautifully designed. We booked a room with a terrace and an outdoor tub. While we didn’t use the tub since it was winter, we absolutely loved spending time on the terrace. December weather in Florence was gorgeous, lots of sun and comfortable with just a light jacket during the day. The view from the terrace isn’t much to write home about since the walls are quite high, so you mostly see the sky (and a few construction cranes), but it still felt peaceful and private. Breakfast was excellent and well worth paying extra for. We wanted to avoid the hassle of finding a breakfast spot each morning, and this made things easy. They offer a buffet, but you can also order hot plates like avocado toast, eggs, bacon, and more—everything we tried was delicious. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and gave great recommendations. We didn’t use public transportation at all and walked everywhere. The location is great if you don’t mind a 15–30 minute walk, which honestly is part of the magic of Florence—you’ll stumble upon hidden gems along the way. The only downside: when you flush the toilet, it tends to splash upward, so definitely close the lid before flushing. Overall, a lovely stay and a hotel we’d happily return to.

Decent hotel with beautiful interior and friendly staff.

Beautiful hotel. New and loved my terrace room. Even in the winter. The grounds must be absolutely gorgeous in full bloom in the summer. Can’t wait to go back. The hotel has more outdoor lounging space than indoor.
