We had a great stay at Centurion Hotel Residential.
This hotel is really conveniently located; lots of food choices, easy access to multiple metro entrances, coffee shops, and at least two 7 elevens.
The hotel itself was also awesome; fantastic customer service, very limited complimentary amenities but totally adequate, cozy room size, clean, excellent shower/bathroom, usb charging port and adapter.
The only thing I’d say could use some work was the laundry. There are only two sets of machines and if you happen to be able to use the washer, it’s likely you’ll have to wait for a very, very long time to use the dryer, as it seemed to take forever to dry peoples clothing. We ended up letting our smaller load of clothes just air dry around our hotel room.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and I’d stay again.

For the price and location, this is a must-book! The breakfast is good too.
However, the room was very small for 3 people. Our suitcases took the entire free space. The bathroom is very small too, and kind of smells like humidity.

the balcony was the cherry on top. not great view, but good to get some fresh air and space if my partner needed to sleep. good sized rooms. reasonable rates. great location and lots of dining options. staff was super kind and great. fun activities in the lobby for kids. hot tea, tooth brushes, combs, etc available in the lobby. shower had good pressure. big bathrooms.
the room itself was average. Tile and baseboards were cracked or falling off. The grout on the bathroom floors were visibly dirty near foot paths and cleaner around the edges of the bathroom. The washing machine caused black stains on my t-shirts. The dryer doesn't work great, but there was also no clothes line for us to hang dry.

The lights in the room would not turn off properly without removing the card on the wall. The room was very small, and we couldn’t even open the curtains without seeing block walls and sewage pipes on both sides. The bathroom felt like an airplane bathroom. Housekeeping did come in and clean, we were thankful for that. The hotel just was not what I expected based on the photos.

The location of the hotel is great. It had several places around the hotel to eat. There are family mart and 7 eleven close by as well. The staff are friendly and always have smiling faces. The room was also great except when you have to take out the key to turn off the light. When the lights are all off, everything is off. You won’t be able to charge your phone overnight except if you plug the charger where the lamp is connected. I loved how they have a balcony per floor and microwave and laundry in the building. It’s design is very efficient.

Lots of small restaurants in the area. Walkable to Hie shrine and Akasaka and Akasaka-Mitsake. Great location. The beds were pretty firm. The kitchen had a hot plate, fridge, sink, tea kettle, and a washer dryer combo machine. It took about 5 hours to wash and dry a load. No drying line in the room. And no wall plugs in the kitchen. If you use the side bed for 3 people there isn’t anywhere to sit in the rooms other than the beds.
But overall it worked for our simple needs.

stayed at Centurion Hotel Residential Akasaka for over a week, and I must say this has been one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had, especially as an international traveller.
The noise levels overnight were absolutely unacceptable — shouting and screaming were a regular occurrence well into the early hours of the morning, making it nearly impossible to get any restful sleep. This was not an isolated incident but happened consistently throughout my stay.
The front reception staff were unable to communicate in English, which made even basic interactions unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. For a hotel that presents itself as suitable for international guests, this is a significant shortcoming.
Despite staying for more than 7 days, the cleaners refused to clean the floors. Basic hygiene and maintenance should be a given, regardless of how long a guest is staying. This level of service is simply not acceptable.
What was most concerning — and not disclosed at the time of booking — is that the hotel is located in a red-light district, which raises significant safety concerns, particularly for families or solo travellers. This lack of transparency is incredibly disappointing and misleading.
Overall, I found the hotel to be pathetic, poorly managed, and not at all reflective of Japanese hospitality standards. I would strongly discourage fellow Australians and other international visitors from booking this hotel. There are far better, safer, and more profess

Comfortable accommodations for a close family of three. We had a laundry in our room which was highly appreciated. They even provide a detergent. Great staff and service. Only downside is the noise of partying crowds outside if you are sensitive to that. We were so tired at the end of each day that, with a set of ear plugs, we slept like babies despite the loud people on the street. Thank you for having us!

窓がとても小さくて窓の半分がわは窓のようでも光が入らず暗い印象でした。部屋は綺麗でしたが、フローリングのように見えて起毛素材の床だったのでカーペットなのかフローリングなのか写真で分かりやすくしていただけると宿泊の決め手となるのでとてもありがたいです。ポットを温めるためのコンセントがキッチンに見当たりませんでした。バスルームのようにもしコンセントがあるのであればわかりやすくしていただけると良かったかと。働いている方はとても好感の持てる接客で心地よくさせていただける対応でした。
