Hotel is nicely connected with 4 subway lines, making it easy to go around Tokyo with metro. Some lines require longer walks though. Hotel is well maintained and clean. Beds were comfortable, facilities in the room were great. Our room views were superb. There is a 7-eleven downstairs making it easy to get some quick snacks. Hotel is also a stop for the airport limousine bus, which is comfortable and economical to get to the airport.

The Capitol Hotel is elegant, beautifully fashionable in an understated sophisticated calming manner. All staff are excellent and very polite and attentive. Breakfast is a phenomenal treat of fresh fruits, vegetables, berries, fish, meats, baked pastries, jams etc.
My only comment is that both lunch (in the main dining room) portions and the Chinese dinner portions are slightly too small but absolutely delicious and the service is excellent.
We loved our 2 night stay and our morning swims above the city skyline; breathtaking views!!

We enjoyed our time at this hotel. I mostly selected it due to it being above 2 metro stations (with 4 metro lines), central to all the places in Tokyo that we wanted to visit and it’s in a quiet part of town. Service was terrific as we utilized the concierge and enjoyed our included breakfasts each morning (thumbs up for the housekeeping folks also). I would stay here again if revisiting Tokyo.

One of the best experiences I have had in a hotel. I have been in many hotels around the world, and few have reached this level of comfort. It's not the newest facility, or the best location, but its understated sophistication, great view of the city, and convenient connection to the metro, make this a great hotel to stay in.

I travel quite a bit and was very impressed by this hotel - a true 5-star in world of wannabes. The caliber was clear the moment I pulled up in a taxi and was met by uniformed staff who were as professional as they were friendly. The Room was also spectacular - particularly for the price paid. And dining options were stellar. Seldom have I ordered a room service dinner (I was tired) and received a high-end restaurant quality meal. That was honestly shocking in a good way. All in all, I would - and will - stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located right above the metro station and is central to most neighborhoods. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was very helpful with figuring out how to make the most of our day. We would go back to this hotel when we return to Tokyo.

Great location right above a convenient subway station. Modern, minimalist Japanese eco-friendly hotel with a 5-star level of comfort but much more affordable than the usual Western brands like Four Seasons and Ritz. My only criticism is the cost for adding breakfast is a little expensive, although the food is good.
