This is a lovely hotel located in a spot that is easily walkable to both the train station and the central area. The hotel has a great atmosphere because it is housed in a historic building and has been smartly decorated. Breakfast was good as well. I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.

My stay was excellent and the staff were very helpful. One suggestion would be to give more detail on where you can park with the booking confirmation this would have made everything a lot smoother at check in. Location is great for the centre of Leiden.

Wonderful staff, unique modernization of a historic building. Breakfast was amazing. Close to Leiden University, canals, cafés, shops... beautiful pre-war architecture along canals and streets.

Hotel is beautiful and staff are very attentive and friendly. The setting is perfect for exploring Leiden. The only negative is that the area is noisy at night - even on a weekday in the middle of the night.

Tijdens warme dagen te warm op kamer. Ventilator en mobiele airco bieden niet voldoende verkoeling. Er is geen koelkastje op kamer en vanaf 21.00u niemand meer aanwezig. Hierdoor geen mogelijkheid voor een verkoelend drankje op kamer, helaas.
Ook in avonduren en nacht overlast van jongeren die direct achter hotel hun hangplek hebben.
Personeel is heel vriendelijk, kamers netjes verzorgd, lunch goed verzorgd en voldoende en ligging hotel ideaal. Parkeergarage nog geen 2 min van hotel.

Minpunt is de prijs. Kamer was 177 euro zonder ontbijt. Als deze prijs inclusief was geweest had ik het een redelijkere prijs gevonden.

Conveniently located just off the main shopping and eating areas. Only 7 minute walk to the Leiden Central train station and from there it is an easy 15-20 minute train ride to Schiphol airport or 35-40 minutes to Amsterdam Central. We took a direct bus to Keukenhof Gardens from Leiden in April for a wonderful day seeing the tulips. Property is neat and clean and unique in structure, making it a nice change from cookie cutter chain hotels.
