City Hotel Rembrandt Square

No tiene ascensor, escaleras peligrosas, mal olor (humedad), sucio

Great location with very friendly and helpful staff, room was very tidy. The bathroom was a bit leaky whenver having a shower. I would recommend it

Me gustó el edificio, la habitación limpia. No me gustó el ruido y que No hay elevador, es difícil subir 3 piso empinados con equipaje.

This was an average stay and I would probably do it again for the location ! But a bit pricey for room quality and the breakfast was alright. There was absolutely no shower pressure, and our toilet seat was broken off. Other than that the staff was kind and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Basic room with private bathroom which had a shower and there is towels available clean and the staff where on hand if you wanted anything 24hrs aday really close to the transport and bars aswell eating places

Hotel was fantastic arrived early was able to leave our bags at reception all staff are very friendly made us feel welcome are hotel room was the deluxe twin room had 3 balconies great views of rembrandt square the room was very clean, nice clean bedding an towels shower room was large and also no faults with anything i would definitely recommend staying here cant wait to come back again

It had everything. Mold, destroyed carpet, the toilet was an open hole and you had to climb around 4 pairs of stairs to go up to the room. They requested a big deposit on the premises when no is no longer an option. The only good thing is the proximity to other attractions in Amsterdam. Also, it is located in a nightlife area with raves going on until 4 AM.

We liked the location. The windows wouldn't stay open and it was so hot in the room. The shower was clogged so the water pooled around your feet.

The room we were in wasn’t cleaned between guests, we found garbage laying on the floor and a sock behind the bed. The bathroom was covered in black mold, it was gross!

Der er ingen elevator og tæpperne på trappen trængte til istandsættelse Sengen var behagelig Vindue i badeværelse kunne godt bruge noget folie. Der stod en person udenfor, på en anden bygning og vedkommende kunne kigge lige ind

Receptionisterna var rara och tillmötesgående, Rummen var gamla och skåpdörrar ramlade av, Sängar och lakan var fräscha och städningen verkade okey, badrummet var rent, trapporna var långa, branta och svåra när man är 70 och måste kånka på stora kappsäckar, frukosten var dyr för det som erbjöds. På natten var det otroligt mycket störningar från killgäng som kom hem sent och hade druckit. Det smälldes i dörrar, pratades högt och skråligt och vi, tre vuxna och tre barn väcktes alla och kunde inte sova på grund av detta. Receptionisten lär ha sagt ifrån men ensam och ung hade hon inte så stor chans att göra sig hörd. Vi var inte nöjda och kommer inte att rekommendera hotellet och jag tycker nog att vi borde få en någon sorts kompensation för de besvär vi har utsatts för. Med vänlig hälsning, Gunilla

Beliggenheten var veldig bra, hotellet er veldig slitt og ingen heis. Vi fikk ingen renhold og måtte etterspørre håndkle og toalettpapir. De ansatte var veldig hyggelige.

The location was fabulous. The staff was excellent. We had to climb 87 steps as there was no elevator. One bed was great and the other saggy. The tiny bathroom needed repairs as the wood window was rotting and a piece of the mirror was broken.

Location and price make this one worth while. Stairs are a killer with heavy luggage.

There was a £150 deposit and I had read about them not giving the deposit back so I made sure they knew I had seen than making sure that I got the deposit back (I did quickly to be fair) The staff were very nice and welcoming every time we walked in, note that we had to leave the keys with the staff when we left the hotel I stayed in the 3 single bed room with 2 of my friends and when we first arrived in the room it was fairly standard, 3 beds and a tv, a safe, a cupboard and a sink in the corner. There was a little plant terrace outside the door I would not recomend standing out there as the wall is about knee high. The bathroom was a shared bathroom on the 3rd floor.. shower was okay ish but the door had mould from the bottom all to way up til about the middle… It was gross.. and whilst we were there one of my friends and I got pretty sick and that lasted a while and honestly made us near bed bound for the entire trip but that could have been anything Location was good but was a lot of shouting outside, heard fights and a lot of music around, it was close to 4 coffeeshops that I’d really recommend to anyone who is there for that and there seemed to be a lot of bars and clubs around if anyone was there for nightlife. 24 min walk from Amsterdam central and 35 mins away from Vondelpark Overall I’d personally not go back but maybe that’s me being fussy, definately not somwhere you go for luxury at all and not a place to go with your significant other. 2/10 from me

Meget centralt beliggenhed. Slidt hotel

Good stay. Basic room with ensuite. Did the job. Lots of stairs! Normal for Amsterdam though. Good pubs and supermarket nearby.

Dirty, noisy and people smoking in the room and in the corridors of the hotel, I do not recommend it to everyone!
