Emergenct stop thanks to Air NZ cancelling the last flight of the day home. Perfectly situated for the stranded business traveller, not expensive and a good room (size, facilities and cleanliness) for my needs. New World opposite to buy the essential toothpaste and toothbrush at not-airport prices and only a few dollars uber back to the airport in the morning. Reception staff were wonderful.

I needed a place to stay when my flight was cancelled. The hotel was helpful, fairly priced. when I discovered the dining room was fully booked, staff quickly provided me with room service.

The Bay Plaza is a very affordable hotel in an excellent locality. We stayed in a king room on the 6th floor. It was a spacious room with a great view of the city and inner harbour snd had everything we needed. It’s an older hotel but scrupulously clean and the service was excellent with pjs Tigua car parking. We’ll definitely stay there again.

Great location in Wellington CBD, outstanding views from your room of the harbour and city. Walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurants, Te Papa museum. Clean & tidy spacious room and friendly staff, would recommend this hotel to others.
