Well located, well equipped, quiet and warm.

Value for money courtesy of staff person parked behind d me left note to contact if needed to get car out. what we had expected from our booking. Comfy beds cosy with heater when needed. Really like parking this was great to have so close to central city at no extra cost. Had to run shower a long time to get hot water. Concerned this was a waste of water.

They need to ensure milk is in each unit before the people check in. To say their is no milk is unacceptable. That has happened twice now.

Hello, the room I was in was nicely lad out. Good size TV, microwave, Jug and toaster came in handy. The fridge was a good size as it was only me, but it wasn't working properly and froze all my food and milk so on the second night I had to go out and order food. The bathroom was a good size as it was set out for disabled people, the only issue was the shower head was a bit low for me, 5.9, to enjoy it properly, also so there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so this coursed the mirror to fog up, even with the widow open. Its in a very handy location to get around Wellington. Parking could have been an issue if it was full.

It’s really walking distance to city shops.

Insufficient parking for visitors to Wellington makes it very difficult and unsafe for non locals. Having a more formal arrangement for overflow vehicles would be useful. On the positive; despite being near highway 1 there was little road noise in the room.

Manager threatened us with violence!! Worst experience of my life!!!!!! The stay in the room was 2/5. The walls were paper thin, like the neighbours were in your space 24/7. The best thing- and only reason it got a 2, was the cleaner, who did an outstanding job. Due to having to leave one night earlier than the 7 nights booked (due to an emergency), I asked if we could get a refund. He replied that we need to give 24 hours notice. I completely understood and asked where from here. He stated he could try and onsell the room or provide a credit. I was happy with either. To be clear, we had paid nearly $1800 upfront at the beginning of the week. So he had all of our money. I always book through Expedia for credit and on my return home, I emailed him on three different occasions inquiring about my Expedia points. He finally replied and told me he had cancelled my Expedia credits, despite me paying IN FULL when we arrived. I rang him to discuss this issue and he did not allow me to speak, but started the conversation by screaming repeatedly “You f&@$en B@&$@h!! You f$&@en liar!!” down the phone at me. He wouldn’t even let me speak and ask about the Expedia credits. After 2 minutes of constant profanity and abuse, I hung up in tears. When my husband rang him back, he called me horrific names (“Your wife is a prostitute”) , made references to my husband’s anatomy and threatened us with “I know where you live!!” And “I’ll come and burn your house down with your family inside!!”,

Property is showing it's age but was clean and convenient. Parking is limited so you have to check in early if you want a spot.

This motel with everything that it said it was the staff were amazing was not able to meet my booking one night and they were able to transfer it to another night extremely accommodating for me the room was beautiful clean at everything you need for a one night stay nice hot shower comfy bed TV to watch againsome cricket cup of coffee highly stay here

Excellent place and quiet

Terrible experience. Both Marksman and Expedia are accountable. We only stayed two nights, but was charged for 4 nights. I had communicated with Expedia a few hours after checking in, to advise that we were not happy, and it was not up to our expectations. After a back and fourth with Marksman, Expedia said that Marksman will charge us for the first two nights as it’s their policy. So we stayed the two nights that couldn’t be refunded. On the third day, at approx 6am, we checked out and left key in the box and later that day checked into new accommodation. Fast forward one week. I notice we haven’t received any refund for the remaining 3 nights and the app still says I stayed there for 5 nights. I called both Expedia and Marksman, to sort things myself, both were not helpful at all and hid behind their “policies”, instead of doing the right thing. Result: Expedia washed their hands and said you need to deal with Marksman direct, and Marksman said with out a “variation” sent to them by Expedia we can only refund one night. They also said “we were not aware you were checking out”, so for one whole day they had no idea. What a joke! Like I said, Marksman is trash, I will never stay there ever again. Hard to deal with, and no willingness to accept accountability and pay for the nights that were actually stayed. Customer service was trash. Expedia, also trash! Agents were clearly able to see the conversations that took place previously, and still didn’t act. Trash!
