Beautiful hotel, rooms lovely and clean and modern. Whilst food was good, waiter in restaurant wasn’t good, got our orders wrong and then over charged us. Then restaurant manager kept telling him off in front of everyone to which he then laughed. So service was very poor but food was very good and bar excellent.

A very disappointing experience for our first stay in a Malmaison hotel. Thought I was spending extra to celebrate a special birthday only to be allocated a room in much need if repair. Curtains hanging off the rails and a bathroom in much need of upgrade with a semi blocked sink, corroded taps, loose fittings and although I did not request it a chair in the shower which looked unsafe for anyone due to the rusting on the legs,

The hotel is simply ok but nothing to promote to friends or family. The ambience is dull, and the room a little tired. The hot breakfast was slow at arriving and was burned. French toast is supposed to be golden, not black. Overall not fussed. The test is always; would I go back. And in this case the answer is no.

The place is falling apart and filthy. The wall paper was coming away from the wall’s and if you opened the window you had to lift it back into the frame to close it.
So bad I checked straight out and booked the Grand Central!
Far superior. Comfortable. Clean and spacious.
