Great location, very clean and a wonderful atmosphere in the bar. The rooms a starting to feel a little tired but nothing that would put mw off returning.

Great staff on arrival and throughout. Room was spacious with pretty much everything you would need including a fridge and a coffee machine. There were also biscuits and a 2 Ferraro Roche. Huge star for that! Staff couldn’t do enough to help. Any requests or issues were actioned immediately. A few critique (which would not stop me staying at the hotel again: the shampoo and body wash were attached to the wall. I had a lovely hot bath but it was a struggle to reach the pump. Some body lotion would have been a nice touch. On the first morning I found the cooked breakfast to be a bit lacking but the French toast on the second morning was absolutely delicious and my daughter’s boiled eggs were cooked to perfection. There was also a help yourself continental breakfast. Sadly for the hotel on the second morning there was quite a substantial leak through the ceiling into the dining room. Not the hotels fault but huge buckets of murky brown water in the middle of the floor where you were trying to eat was a bit off putting. I would respectfully suggest that guests should maybe have been steered to the bar/lounge for breakfast during this emergency. Again, this is meant as constructive feedback and NOT criticism. Check in slow, not enough tea or coffee in room asked for extras and only given 2 of each. Was looking forward to nice meal in hotel but due to a flood there wasn’t room in bar area. Great location for going out shopping or having a drink. Made a good French Martini.

Rooms dated. While location is good, didn't see value for money with the interiors

Bedroom was spacious but super dark and the bathroom is not practical without space to put your personal objects, and it was cold as well in the room.

o free parking, very tired decor. Why are all Malmaison's so dark? Why does every hotel in Belfast have pictures of the Titanic and those yellow cranes? Try for something a little different. The room had a tiny window that was very difficult to open to get fresh air, a broken dirty venetian blind, a broken toilet seat hanging off it's fixing, a broken shower gel dispenser, dirty grouting in the bathroom that really needs to be replaced. Standing in a tiny bath having a shower with low water pressure is not really the height of luxury. Broken coffee machine at breakfast, far too long to wait for any hot food at breakfast. A loud air conditioning sound in the room all night with a control dial in the room that had no settings. But on the positive, free sky sports on the tv in your room, that is rare. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. But let's be honest, this hotel is the definition of "sweating an asset" dry without investing anything in refurbishment. Do yourself a favour and book into the Titanic hotel and enjoy a proper hotel.
