Booking in straightforward and efficient. Hotel good enough location. Wouldnt have minded porridge as a breakfast option. Staff would look more professional if they wrere to discard red fleece and opt for more professional look ?

The location is faultless, it’s very convenient to get to the hotel on foot from the station and it’s very central however the room was very dark even when all the lights were on and it was hot as balls. We had to have a mini fan running all night as well as a window being open because you can’t change the climate control in the room. We think it may just be our room potentially as it was near the plumbing room which also was hot when you walked past.
I would stay in the hotel again if those issues were fixed or potentially just in a different room that wasn’t hotter then the depths of hell.

A good hotel in central Edinburgh. Perfectly placed for all the tourist hotspots. There was a lot of noise at night from the pub next door and windows banging in the wind, but overall we enjoyed our stay here

Everything was so limited. No telephone to reception. No refrigerator. Open wardrope. Small room. Small bathroom. But shower was working good. It was hot and pouring well.
