ibis Edinburgh Centre Royal Mile - Hunter Square

Booking in straightforward and efficient. Hotel good enough location. Wouldnt have minded porridge as a breakfast option. Staff would look more professional if they wrere to discard red fleece and opt for more professional look ?

Staff members were great!! Food was good. Very clean. Room needed some shelves or drawers since we there 8 nights.

Room didn’t have safe as advertised. No wash clothes. Beds ok. Hotel nice otherwise. Great location and reasonably priced.

Good overall but as it was in the centre of the royal mile it was quite noisy at pub kicking out time (3.am)

Great, great location

The location is faultless, it’s very convenient to get to the hotel on foot from the station and it’s very central however the room was very dark even when all the lights were on and it was hot as balls. We had to have a mini fan running all night as well as a window being open because you can’t change the climate control in the room. We think it may just be our room potentially as it was near the plumbing room which also was hot when you walked past. I would stay in the hotel again if those issues were fixed or potentially just in a different room that wasn’t hotter then the depths of hell.

Easy to get anywhere

A good hotel in central Edinburgh. Perfectly placed for all the tourist hotspots. There was a lot of noise at night from the pub next door and windows banging in the wind, but overall we enjoyed our stay here

We spent 4 nights in the Ibis, it was convenient location to the castle, surrounded by multiple restaurants and bars. The room was quiet and comfortable.

Absolutely brilliant stay, will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Edinburgh. The breakfast was delicious!

Great location, reasonable price, and good standard Ibis style rooms, cleanliness, and breakfast. Was offered a large room facing the Main Street. Loved my stay in Edinburgh.

Everything was so limited. No telephone to reception. No refrigerator. Open wardrope. Small room. Small bathroom. But shower was working good. It was hot and pouring well.

The checkin process was not smooth, due to a fault with Expedia, but the staff were really helpful and managed to sort it out, given some time. The room and bathroom were clean and it had everything needed for a nights sleep. Bathroom is a bit small. Thr bed is comfortable enough, although you definitely can't compare to the more luxury hotels. The hotel is located really centrally which makes it a great place to stay

Loved our stay! Hotel was vibrant, clean and location cannot be beat. Less than 10 minute walk from Waverley station and main attractions on Royal Mile.

Excellent location for the Old town and Royal Mile. No frills hotel, reasonable price and easy to walk to from train / bus station

Staff were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about any questions we had.
