[TM]Centara Karon Resort Phuket

We had a great stay. Facilities are amazing, staff fantastic and helpful.

We stayed for 7 nights and were super happy with our stay at Centara. Our spacious room was in the Tropicale wing which has been newly renovated. The breakfast buffet was great and had a lot choose from, the staff even made us oat milk lattes every day. We were really well taken care of by the wonderful staff (special thanks to Ai, Sun, Salem, Gate, First, and Lah!). The hotel app was very convenient and room service was quick. The beach was really nice and only a short walk from the hotel. We really have nothing to complain about, except that it would have been nice to have some daily quiet hours at the pool (for reading and some calm time) since the music was always on in the pool bar.

The staff are sensational, the breakfast is broad and caters for everybody, room cleanliness good and house staff friendly and co-operative and helpful, views from the balcony excellent. Pools and surrounds beautifully presented. Overall rated 4+ stars.

Erst als Paar in ein Zimmer am Kinderpool! Gebucht Meerblick! 2. Zimmer 9. Etage mit Meerblick! Auf dem Flur ein ganz ekeliger Geruch! Im Zimmer das gleiche! Dritte Zimmer der Geruch wurde etwas besser aber es hat immer noch unangenehm gerochen! Beim Frühstück immer eine Schlange, da Hotel voll war der Raum zu klein und Tische zugewiesen wurden! Das Essen was warm sein sollte war immer kalt. Einiges war nicht durchgebraten/backen/etc. Alles in allem gab es wenig positives von diesem Hotel zu berichten! Am Tag der Abreise wurde dann noch mal nach gefragt leider viel zu spät! Also meidet dieses Hotel! Auch Karon Beach ist sehr kyrillisch angehaucht. Jeder Stand hat alles in kyrillisch auf seinen Schildern, ebenso das Hotel!

BEWARE Honestly, I’m gonna start off by saying that my friend and I were really looking forward to staying at this hotel. From reading all the reviews, we expected a great stay—but what awaited us at this resort left me wishing I had never stayed there, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. To briefly summarize: Good: Housekeeping staff are kind, breakfast is great, and the resort is relatively clean. Cons: All the “in-room amenities” like slippers, pillows, and blankets are outdated, with yellow stains. Reception is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Now, Day 1: we arrive at the resort, and right off the bat, the guy at reception is ridiculously rude—just passive-aggressive for no reason. We arrived a little early and asked whether we could check in early. He immediately said “no” without even checking whether the rooms were ready. My friend and I let it go. We came back at 3 PM, checked in, and left our stuff before heading out for a walk for about two hours. When we returned, the room was insanely humid—the blankets, pillows, and bedding were fully damp, our clothes in the suitcases were moist, and even my passport in my bag had started to wrinkle. We immediately called reception, and they sent housekeeping to change the bedding. The housekeeping guy came and started changing one bed, but we stopped him because we realized the AC wasn’t working properly—so having him change both beds only for them to get damp again in ten minutes made no sense. Room was decent. Big resort, so if you are going to frequent the pool, then get a room closer to one of the pools. Food is expensive, but good quality. Plenty of cheaper options right outside the resort. Drinks too are pretty expensive.

Booked 2 rooms with sea views. 1 had great view but the other you needed to lean over the balcony to see the sea However, superb service and extremely clean.

We had an amazing stay at Centara Karon Resort! The staff were absolutely fantastic, so kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. The facilities were excellent, and the location was perfect, close to everything we needed. Throughout our trip, our daughter unfortunately became unwell, and the staff went above and beyond to help us in every possible way. Their compassion and support meant the world to us, and we are truly grateful. We highly recommend this resort to everyone and will definitely be coming back. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 💛

A fantastic hotel delivering great service. My family and I made plans to spend our week in Phuket sightseeing, but ended up spending much of that time at the hotel. Excellent facilities for the young ones, particularly the kids' club; the staff there were amazing. Hotel's location is great; restaurants/entertainment all within walking distance including a very clean beach. Highly recommended.

Had a great time at this resort all expectations met, no complaints. Wonderful staff that comprise of individuals such as Tangmo, Jes,Tukta & Jame to name a few! Would definitely stay here again!!!

Overall with good experience but the room is quite small when you accommodate with toddler. Kids facilities are great, love the kids pool, kids club and kids menu. Staff is very friendly and attentive with good service mind indeed. Variety of foods for breakfast line. Spa is also good with reasonable price.

Staff were exceptional and accomodating, room was amazing with great views, Mint was unbelievably welcoming will be back just for her service.

Centra is a beautiful hotel. I was so lucky to have the team take care of me when I was unwell. I extended my stay.

We were given a room upgrade with a sea view at no cost. The breakfasts were exceptional - the quality & selection of food was amazing.
