Cocohut Village Beach Resort & Spa

Sehr schöne Anlage und top Service, durchgängig sehr nettes Personal. Das Frühstück ist gut und ok, aber kein Highlight. Der zugehörige Strand und Strandbar gehört zu den schönsten auf ganz Koh Phangan, absolut top. Der Skymoon Pool bietet einen perfekten Blick auf den Haad Rin Beach. Die Skymoon Suite ist super, am Abend kann man direkt auf den lebhaften Haad Rin Beach schauen und hört bis in die Nacht hinein die Musik. Wir fanden es toll, wer allerdings am Abend Ruhe möchte, sollte einen Bungalow auf der anderen Seite der Anlage wählen. Wir kommen gerne wieder zurück.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Schon beim Check-in war die Rezeption äußerst freundlich, und es wurden gleich WhatsApp-Nummern ausgetauscht, was die Kommunikation sehr einfach machte. Unser Zimmer lag in den oberen Etagen und hatte einen privaten Pool – ein echtes Highlight! Das Zimmer war sauber, das Bett sehr bequem und das Badezimmer geräumig und gepflegt. Jeden Tag wurde gefragt, ob das Zimmer gereinigt werden soll. Es gab täglich frisches Wasser und frische Handtücher, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Das Frühstück war zwar recht einfach – keine Wurst oder Käse – aber es war lecker und wir wurden immer satt. Der Shuttle-Service funktionierte einwandfrei und fuhr uns stets zeitnah. Auch den Roller konnten wir direkt im Hotel für 350 Baht pro Tag mieten – unkompliziert und problemlos. Der Check-out war bestens organisiert: Wir wurden direkt zum Haad Rin Pier gebracht, und die Tickets für das Speedboot wurden ebenfalls vom Hotel organisiert. Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt – wir würden dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

During Covid-19, we stayed here! This place is amazing. It is very spacious on the property. The bar outside by the beach has the friendliest staff and you can also get a massage by the beach. The pool over looked the beautiful sea, and the hotel structure was very beautiful! Thank you Jasmine (reception) for being so kind to us!!! I had to change the date of my booking Bc or ferry scheduling and it was no problem!!! They messaged us and got right back to us! When arriving we were greeted by name and taken to our lovely room. The room is spacious and the balcony is LARGE! You wake up and feel like ur looking out at the jungle. The water pressure was great! Hot water! And the AIR con was amazing once it got going. I highly recommend this hotel for families or for ppl who want to be away from the loud noise of Haad rin beach! You can rent a motorbike on the property and ride two min to Haad rin beach for nightlife!

Super Strandhotel. Toller Service. Gute Lage

Wir können das Hotel weiterempfehlen. Hotel an guter Lage an wunderschönem Beach mit sehr nettem Personal. Gleich ums Eck kann man günstig Motorräder mieten für die Inselbesichtigung. Das Essen war immer lecker und es gibt ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Es hat für jeden etwas. Bei der Poolbar sowie im Restaurant sollte einzig mehr auf die Hygiene geachtet werden (schneller abräumen und mit Mittel den Tisch putzen, sowie sollte man langsam die Menükarten erneuern - recht schmuddelig. Aber im grossen und ganzen gefiel es uns sehr gut. Auch die Poolanlage ist toll. Zimmer sind super und auch die Transfer zum Haad Rin Pier funktionierten einwandfrei.

Uns hat nichts gestört. Feines Essen, guter Kaffe, schöner Strand. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber. Wir können nicht‘s bemängeln.

My Samsung Galaxy S10 was stolen by the member of staff who rented out motorcycles for the hotel. I reported this too the police who kept me in police box for 2 hours trying ineptly to use a find my phone app and threatened to arrest me for accusing a Thai national. The police and hotel refused too help in any way. Even refusing to give me their names or a piece of headed paper stating that I had lost or had my phone stolen for insurance purposes. The hotel refused to allow me to call the British consulate, stating that I never had a phone in the first place. But after cancelling my bank cards and phone conection the using a friend's phone. The police arrived with my phone stating that they had found it in a bush 300 years from the place where I had left it with the motorcycle renters girlfriend whilst being showed a bike. The police even took 600 Baht (£17) out of my phone expecting me to give it too them a reward which I flatley refused. The hotel manager and staff where unbelievable in their manners and complete refusal to help. PLEASE be careful with your possessions at this hotel. It's a lovely location and with full moon parties making Haad Rid a busy little town. Cancelling my phone and bank cards was a problem. But we refused to let this spoil our break. We were based in Koh Samui and spent 4 day's at Cocohut, leaving after the above incident. I have visited Thailand many times and found the people to be very polite and honest. BUT the Cocohut? NO NO NO!

Hotellets beliggenhed er helt perfekt og meget hyggeligt - ned til en fin strand (så længe det ikke er højvandet), tæt på by, tilpas væk fra larm. Personalet er super søde og hjælpsomme - vi havde en tidlig check-ud tid, og der sørgede de for at lave morgenmad to-go. Rengøring var noget kritisabel, både i sin helhed og på værelset - pool og boblebad var fyldt med insekter og sand (hvilket ikke blev ordnet under vores ophold) - der blev ikke ordnet på balkonen, der hørte til værelset - f.eks. blev askebæger ikke tømt nogen af de tre dage vi opholdt os på stedet. Stedet bærer præg af at være temmelig slidt. Morgenbuffeten er åben fra 8.00-10.00, hvilket er et rimeligt kort tidsrum at servere for 79 værelser. Alt i alt havde vi er fint og hyggeligt ophold, men billederne er helt ikke retvisende.

Beautiful location. Breakfast good. Gym equipment needed cleaning daily and better air-conditioning and fans in gym required. Restaurant and drinks pricy compared to local restaurants.

Gut geführtes, grosszügig angelegtes Resort. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal.

Good hotel on the beach

La struttura è in un’ottima posizione ad haad rin. Super se ci fosse stato il Full Moon Party, raggiungibile a piedi dal resort. I servizi offerti noleggio scooter a due passi senza dover lasciare i passaporti. Servizio lavanderia efficiente, personale super gentile. Non mi ha soddisfatto l’accesso al mare perché praticamente non c’è. C’è una spiaggia poco distante molto ampia.

Fantastic hotel with a fantastic beach! Very good service, we got a room upgrade to a bigger bungalow when we checked in! The beach and the pool were great, too bad they were building next to the restaurant and it was a bit noisy when we had lunch there. Breakfast is okay, could have more fruit. I tried the foot massage in the spa and was wonderful too. I would totally go back to this hotel!

Good location in Haad rin , everting is walking distance.Very quite beach. Good WiFi.very friendly staff.

Hôtel au top !! Personnel au petit soin !! Suite avec petite piscine /jacuzzi très grande et très belle !! Attention aux parties commune ( sol en bois à repeindre ) !! Mais franchement une très très bonne expérience !!
