Crowne Plaza Fort Myers, an IHG Hotel

Great stay! Staff was extremely friendly upon check-in and any other time we needed something. My room was clean and very comfortable. Would stay again!

This hotel has a lot of connecting rooms. The gent upon our arrival was solid and helped us with a room that had a full wall as per our request. The hotel itself is fair, does the job but the bathroom door (in our room) was a slide door that doesn’t actually shut, and has about an inch gap at the end. Lastly, our shuttle out was stressful, we booked the night before, came early and still the driver had left earlier without us. Lost about half hour. Besides this, good spot, was quiet.

Staff was super helpful

The only problem that I had was the airconditioner was right in front of the desk and was always too cold to sit at the desk.

The hotel is conveniently located to active area with restaurants, shops, movies and events. The hotel itself was in good shape, you can see the wear and tear from time as it was another hotel chain before its current owner. Restaurant accessible with great menu options. Only issues we had was that during our only night, they had some loud music which went to the courtyard just outside our room. This was past 11pm. I called the front desk and the volume was lowered though the music continued past 11:30. The room was also adjacent to the gym so we could hear weights dropped at 6am. I will not discard this hotel in the future but simply request a different room location.

Beautiful property in a nice area.

Housekeeping staff does great job around hotel.

They are doing construction, so you can hear drills and other tools. They were nice enough to move me to a quieter room.

Centrally located

The area is experiencing a historic cold front and the heat did not work in the room for two days. They did not fix it nor did they give me another room but offered me coupons. Also, they started grinding loudly on the pool doing maintenance at 8 AM each day making it impossible to sleep. They ended up discounting my room 30% but it was still over $170 a night. I won’t be staying at a Hilton again.

Good clean rooms (we had 2) only problem we had with our stay was the complimentary breakfast doesn’t start until 7:00! We usually are on the road by then.

Needs a bit of updating, close to the movie studio, and restaurants.

the pool chairs are uncomfortable and the pool water is cold. The rooms need refurbishing-they are old. Shoeless Joe's wasn't great. Front desk staff were not very friendly or helpful.

Very clean and great service

I had such a wonderful experience that I stayed an extra night!

Was greeted warmly by staff and given a very delicious warm cookie. This Double Tree didn't have a hot tub but you can walk across the street and use the one at their sister hotel which is cool. I don't know if the hotel is still under renovation or not but it's definitely "in transition". The elevators work fine but are kind of janky. One is missing the floor number two button. The other elevator the floor display up top looked to be punched or kicked out. The ice machine on the second floor is out of order. Inside my room was very clean and gave great views of the pool. The sliding door for the bathroom didn't work well. I thought I might be stuck a few times lol. There were signs near the elevator talking about the problems with the television. If it pixelated or froze you should call the front desk and they would send someone to fix it. When I inquired about it they didn't have anybody on call. No matter, I went to the Shoeless Joe for a beer and food. Very nice bartender. I and a friend had a pitcher of beer, a French dip and fire cracker shrimp. The French dip was beyond bland not even any cheese. The aus jus didn't taste like anything. The fire cracker shrimp was good! They held on to my bag after checkout so I could visit a few shops near by. I would say as long as you aren't going to spend a ton of time in the hotel this is a good place to stay. Very clean and attentive service.
