Holiday Inn Express Columbus South - Obetz, an IHG Hotel

When I checked they gave me a room that was already occupied. I opened the door and there was someone in the room. The manager seemed to think that was humorous. It could have been disastrous. The room is dingy and dirty. The phone was not working. The towel rack in the bathroom fell off when I reached for the towel. I would never stay here again and would hesitate to book through Expedia again.

Best hotel I’ve stayed at in awhile!!! Staff was supper friendly, hotel was clean and smelled nice, PLUS they even bake cookies and popcorn checkin time. Pool room was warm and the pool was great! If you staying in the area you better pick this hotel!

They are friendly to individuals with autism..i am a provider and i had to stay with my client and he is not quiet. And not one person complained

everything here was great including the breakfast, the highway turns does make it a bit hard to get into as you have to pass it up and turn around somewhere.

We absolutely loved this hotel! We had the pool to ourselves, the breakfast was really great, there’s always someone at the desk willing to help. I do wish that the pillows were a bit more firm, but next time I’ll have to bring my own. Only downside about the 2nd floor was being under someone else’s room but you get that just about anywhere.

It was nice. Simple place to sleep and is near all the fun places.

Not a bad stay. But someone did enter our room while we were gone and had the sign hanging on the door handle. We found a key card and a list of things on a piece of paper.

Room was clean, place was quiet and breakfast was good. The three things I was looking for!

When checking in they didn’t have our king suites, there was no manager on duty and we were told to take or leave it. The next day the team couldn’t ever locate the manager whether it was by phone or walkie talkie. They didn’t offer a discount or any help for the mistake. The one from tvs didn’t work, the other room air/heat didn’t work. The room floors were extremely dirty and sticky, we had to clean the fridge, breakfast was missing, out of order, or not enough people to restock. We had several big men and they wanted them to share queen beds. I wouldn’t recommend staying unless you don’t really have plans and don’t mind staying in a room you didn’t book or pay for it’s great otherwise I wouldn’t! We had to move room 2 times and spend over $900 on these rooms. The management team isn’t good at their job and they have young works who aren’t trained well and give them no help. The poor girl was in tears from being so stressed out and she had no idea what to do or what she could do. As a business owner this was just terrible to see as it wasn’t her fault. They need to do much better by there employees and give them help. The cleaning team is constantly on their phones hit my child with the laundry cart and they come flying out of the elevator no manners constantly video chatting being load, which again shows there is no management day or night allowing employees being in there phones 24/7. This is not a friendly hotel for family or business.

Floors were not as clean as they should have been

Sidewalk and parking lot was iced over. Highway noise is loud.
