The Aster

I had never stayed at the Aster hotel before. It’s a very wonderful experience. It’s very nice and clean and quiet. I enjoyed hanging out in the lounge that was not overly crowded overall it was a very nice stay.

every staff member we encountered was super friendly. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this place!

The rooms are much larger than comparable hotels. The designers thought of every detail to make the spaces comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. I was definitely satisfied with the professional, friendly and cordial staff.

Chose this Hotel due to its proximation to the Pantageous which is just around the corner. However, Suite #414 was apparently next to a club that had a DJ until 5:45 in the am. The balcony, which I had been excited to have, had a view of a partial wall and a roof top that looked like it had suffered the apocalypse. See photos. I felt the 4 star Hotel status was a bit lacking. No robes in the room (they apparently forgot them) poor quality toilet paper, ear plugs on the tables,(obviously for the noise but they didn't work). NO door on the toilet room, no shower caps and the towels were too big to wrap around your hair. The shower had a rain shower so you couldn't help but get your hair wet. Other than all that, the hotel had lovely décor, the staff was kind and the restaurant on the roof top, sublime!

We chose this location based on reviews and the proximity to the Pantages Theatre. (It was a 3 min walk!) We had a great stay! It’s a stunning property and the room and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be back!

Great property, first class amenities. Inwould definitely stay again. Location is in a bit of "seedy" part of Hollywood, but I think you have to take the good with the bad. Be sure to checkout the rooftop bar. Great views and good cocktails!

Incredible hotel in a classically dingy part of LA. Would highly recommend for urban travelers who understand the character of the area.

This place was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was our first time in LA and we had a great time. This hotel was clean, very spacious rooms. Great views and chic atmosphere

I loved the style and spaciousness of the hotel and my room with a balcony. I was only in town a couple of nights for a concert but was extremely comfortable which was nice after being tired and needing a good nights sleep. They were very accommodating for adding an extra day since I had a red eye flight and it was nice to be able to just relax until time for my cross country flight

The moment we walked into our room, we had a level of stress melt away. It was gorgeous, extremely clean (which is SO nice to see these days) and very comfortable. We were sad to only be staying one night, because it was likely one of, if not THE best room we have ever stayed in. The staff, from the front desk, to the 5th floor bar area was outstanding. we will definitely be back to The Aster. We have already forwarded the website and details to several friends, who would likely be traveling to LA in the next year. Thank you for making our stay, though short...perfect!! I am trying to reach the customer service of the hotel property but it is hard to reach them,not a lot of staff are available especially in the restaurant only one person,if you are trying to reach them you can’t contact them it’s terrible customer service, especially your Agent booking system of Expedia is very bad customer service, they can’t help me to resolve my problem, the issue was such as when you need their assistance, they will put you in transferring to a different person who doesn’t even know how to comfort you,I booked a flight and a hotel to Expedia, I just paid an insurance for both flights and Stay, I just thought that they will help you when something is happened with your flight such as My situation was that I had missed my Flight a minute ago and this Airline that I booked is Frontier Airlines who has a bad customer service too, I was already there asking for help but instead of helping me is telling me something that I really don’t know how to do it, it’s because I’m explaining to them that it’s our first time to do this flight going to LA.coming from San Francisco coz’ normally we’re always driving going to LA.so we really don’t know how to check in or Sign in from the Apps in our phone, instead of helping us he just staring at us, it’s so weird, it’s ridiculous how an agent is helpless to a customer, I just got ripped off by your Company Expedia I paid $379.17 for one night and when I get to the hotel they charged me again for $200 it was a bad experienc

I don’t like the fact that my reservation was cancelled because I did not check in the first day. It does not matter since I had already paid for the room. I want my money back.
