町の中心の通りに面していて、スーパーマーケットもすぐ隣で立地がとても良いです。こぢんまりとした良いホテルでした。プールは一番深いところが１．８ｍあり、浅いところも１ｍくらいなので小さいお子さんの場合は注意が必要です。スタッフが非常に親切で大変気持ち良い滞在ができました。なお、エレベーターが無いので、足腰の弱い方は注意が必要です。

ホテルが町の中心部に位置し、晩御飯の材料を買いに行くのも、ホテルの隣にスーパーがあり非常に便利でした。 キッチン用品は食器も含め十分な設備でした。 しかも、駐車場が無料なのが嬉しい。 温水プールは少し冷たかったかな。

Room was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Macrossan House was right in the main street - easy access to everything. Walk to both beaches, walk to marina and cruises. Absolutely wonderful and beautiful place to stay. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again!

The accommodation is well situated in the centre of town, close to shops, the marina and Four Mile Beach. The room is a decent size, with a screened-off bedroom, and a balcony. The self catering facilities consist of fridge-freezer, microwave and a hot plate. The low marking is entirely due to the claimed accessibility, and the arrogance of the owners when we pointed out its shortcomings. As I am a wheelchair user, we chose to stay here because we were attracted by the claims to be accessible-friendly, with “accessible parking”, “accessible reception” and “accessible room”. We asked for a ground floor room. The room is adapted. I would not, however, call it accessible. The parking is underground, with no elevator and a very steep slope up to the ground level. The reception is up yet another, similar slope (and from my chair I was unable to see the reception staff unless they were standing up). The room is on this level, but everything else - swimming pool, barbecue patio, laundry facilities - is downstairs, with absolutely no access for a wheelchair user. The downstairs area itself is not disabled friendly - access to the sunbeds being via a stepping stone over part of the pool, and the sunbeds being on a raised platform. The owner was quite dismissive of the idea that a residence boasting of its access should property ensure that the disabled person has access to all (or at least most) of the facilities, and not just the room.

We had a great experience staying at Macossan House, it was in a great location the facility was modern, comfortable and clean. Would recommend as a great place to stay in Port Douglas.

GREAT LOCATION VERY HELPFUL MANAGERS.

We really enjoyed staying here! The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The location was great - right in the center of town but only a short walk to the beach. And even though it was in the center of town, it was very quiet! Gary and Jo were great and we appreciated the airport pickup and drop off. We were also able to do laundry on the property.

Clean, well maintained. Very quiet for being in the centre of town. Friendly and very helpful owners. Would recommend staying there.

Gary and Jo were super helpful with dinner ideas and things to do in the area, both really nice people. Room was clean, well stocked, a nice size and the location was walkable to shops and restaurants as well as the beach and pier. Parking was available and convenient and our place was super private and quiet. Highly recommend!

The apartment is a good size and great location if you want to be in town. It was a 10 minute walk to 4 mile beach which is lovely. Jo was very helpful with suggestions and let us check out late.

A lovely aparthotel run by a lovely couple who recommended local restaurants and was able to book excursions for me. I would absolutely return to the Macrossan if staying in Port Douglas again.

Very central to everything

Great position on the main street, so close to shops and eateries. Well maintained and comfortable rooms. Lovely owners who were very helpful. Would happily stay again.

The roomy apartment was in the heart of town. Easy walk to the marina and park and beautiful Cliff trail. Good AC and comfy bed. Below garage parking.

Was in a great position nice room we were there for 7 nights would have been good to get fresh towels during stay

Owners were charming and very helpful. They arranged airport transfers for us and provided recommendations for excursions.
