Room had a nice view over the golf course, shower was a generous size. However we woke up to a mower on the golf course very early in the morning, and the attention to detail with the room was lacking. There was only 1 small plate for tea and no complimentary snacks such as biscuits. The tv had only really limited old movies and streaming didn’t work. There was no sign that the hotel existed (we missed the turn down the final small road and were unsure when we got there). Bed was a little soft but others may find ok. Overall was ok for a night.

Lovely hotel in a lovely spot. Nice balcony. Nice main room and bathroom. Nice restaurant on the premises.

They were so professional

Safe in room was temperamental. Had dinner in Spike Bar 1st night (Sunday) as closed 2nd night. Food was good; however found service of staff lacking. They brought starter & mains at same time. Almost as though they wanted you in & out as quickly as possible. Good breakfast. Signage for hotel from main road extremely poor. Would I return - unlikely.

The fridge in the room wasn't working and no one tried to fix the problem went the issue was raised. I couldn't have my drinks filled during my stay. Also, on the very last day, the fire alarm went off at 6am. There was no staff on site at the time but one staff arrived after everyone was outside of the building. When the fire brigade arrived they couldn't access the controls as the staff member that has just arrived didn't have the master key. I felt that it was a fire hazard oversight and felt unsafe to stay there.

Situated very close to the golf course. The hotel has magnificent views over part of the golf course.

Reception was amazing the staff member was happy, friendly, funny, and full of knowledge 10/10. Lift not working but it happens. The bar was small however had what you need and the bartender was awesome. Breakfast was very good but a bit pricey Room was great and comfortable, shower was hot and big enough. Would stay again

Our stay was lovely Nice comfy big bed and yummy hot breakfast. Specially loved the hot chocolate

Definitely made for a brief stay only , golf weekend l imagine . Very basic , blinds very worn , unattractive view out of bedroom
