We stayed for a week and had a great time, the room perfectly met our expectations. The bed was really comfy, wifi was great and the room was warm and secure, but the true gem was the staff members! Kat, Andrew and Caleb were so welcoming and friendly, Kat continually went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and had great communication anytime we needed it! And the food at the pub downstairs was phenomenal, definitely worth a meal. Will definitely be staying again, thank you :)

If there’s one thing that matters in accommodation, it’s the first impression, and unfortunately, it could have been better. They really ought to change the bed linen – it was stained and worn. What’s more, there was dust in the room, which made us a bit wary. On the other hand, the staff are very attentive and friendly, and the food at the restaurant is highly recommended! There’s heating and the shower works a treat! As for the distance to the city centre, it’s great to be just a 5-minute drive from the main attractions; as it’s autumn, there isn’t much going on, but you can pop out for a stroll and park easily in the centre. Hopefully they’ll sort out these little details for next time!

Stayed here through Expedia and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. We arrived at 9am and later asked around 12pm if early check-in was possible, even for an extra fee. Fair enough if unavailable, but staff were dismissive and seemed more interested in chatting than helping guests. When we finally got the room, it involved two flights of stairs, which was difficult travelling with my 70-year-old mother. The room itself was dirty, the bathroom covered in grime, and the window had been painted shut so it couldn’t be opened to air out moisture. There was also no room service, meaning the same towels had to last 3.5 days. The bed and pillows were badly worn out. I slept terribly all three nights and woke with neck and back pain each morning. Basic comfort should be the minimum expectation. We also ate downstairs in the pub using the guest discount. It was some of the worst food we’ve had. The fried rice was a greasy bowl of vegetables with barely any rice, and the chicken burger came on a stale, soggy bun with poor flavour. When concerns were raised, the young staff member simply shrugged and walked away. Later another staff member admitted the head chef was off and the replacement cook had no idea what they were doing. Overall: poor service, poor cleanliness, uncomfortable rooms, terrible food and no real care for guests. Would not stay again.

A hidden gem in a central location that has had an excellent "make over". Great food and drink, as well as really affordable clean and modern budget accommodation upstairs. But what really makes it are the staff who provide some of the friendliest service in Hobart. Peter, Sarah, Kath and crew have all been amazing every time I've stayed here - it feels like I'm visiting family. Always friendly, helpful and make the experience really feel welcoming. My only reluctance at singing their praises the deserve is it'll be harder for me to stay at the last minute if everyone finds out about it! ❤️

Great central place to stay in nth Hobart . Easy check in. Helpful staff . Zero noise after the hotel had closed

Good accomodation and convienient

The room we were in was modern and very spacious. I think it was originally two rooms that had been combined so there was a lounge which was a great bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was is in a great location, not far from the city and close to lots of cafes and restaurants. The food at the Hotel (pub) downstairs was pretty good and the 20% discount for guests was great. There were some negative as well. 1. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. There was hair in the corner of the shower screen. 2. The shower pressure was terrible. 3. The bed sagged a bit so wasn’t comfortable. 4. All the rooms are upstairs and there is no lift. There aren’t many stairs but if you have heavy luggage, it’ll still be a bit of a challenge.
