部屋はリフォームされて、広くて綺麗だった。4泊したが１度もルームクリーニングがなかった。（ルームクリーニングとタオルの交換は別途依頼する必要があるのかもしれない） 室内でゆっくりしている日もあったのでクリーニングがなくてもそれはそれで自由でよかった。 シャワーの排水溝が最初から詰まっていて毎回トイレまで全部水浸しになるのは気になった。 冷蔵庫がついていて便利だった。 ショッピングセンターが徒歩圏内にあるが、意外と遠い。周囲にカフェやレストランが少ない。駐車場があるので車がある場合は便利だが、公共交通機関の利用には不便かもしれない。 街の中心から離れているので静かで良い。

The room was quiet. We could sleep well. But, our first night, we didn’t find a soap. So, we had to ask it. It was inconvenient.

Reasonable room for the price

The hotel has a great location, just a short walk from the tram, which made getting around very convenient. The beds were standard and generally okay for a short stay. However, I was quite disappointed with several aspects of the experience. The room looked noticeably different from the photos online, especially the toilet and shower area. The space had a smell of cigarette smoke upon arrival, which made it more unpleasant when the rooms are specifically non-smoking. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because the listing mentioned soundproof rooms, but unfortunately, this was not the case. I could clearly hear noise from outside and from the room above us. The guests upstairs were particularly loud, walking around heavily well into the early hours of Monday morning, which made it very difficult to sleep. I understand the behavior of other guests is not within the hotel's control, but if the rooms are not truly soundproof, it might be best to adjust that claim in the description to set more accurate expectations. There were also a few maintenance issues: the ventilation fan in the toilet made a loud creaking noise, and the beds were not secured or locked in place, which made them move around easily. Overall, I was really looking forward to a relaxing stay, but I left feeling more tired than refreshed. I hope this feedback helps to improve future guest experiences.

Soundproofing was not great. Property was old and in need of a refurbishment. WiFi was slow.

Noisy

Waste from prior guests around the bin next to the fridge. The top of the bedheads were unattached. Patchy unfinished wallpaint around the aircon and double bed. Unsightly worn marks on the bedside table. Beds not locked in place so your couldn’t sit up to watch tv without them sliding - head to use the chair to stop it.

Looks nice enough, but upon closer inspection some things (like showers screens and walls) weren't very clean.

Didn't like the shower over the bath. Made it difficult for my son who has hip problems. When ringing restaurant for room service, conversations in the background were extremely loud. Made it very difficult to hear. When we asked for cutlery we were eventually supplied chopsticks and a teaspoon. Not what we were actually wanting.

Was not informed that we needed to book housekeeping to make up our room. There was no information in the room even though we were advised there should be. I understand the property is still in a state of change but this is pretty basic stuff. Property owner should also take a good look at their contractors as they appear to be cutting corners on some of the renovations.

Hi, The Parkmore was very well presented with helpful staff and clean facilities. We booked a Premium room, but we believe that, whilst it was one of the recently refurbished rooms, its location, directly opposite the very busy Royal Parade, was pretty unbearable. We kept thinking there was a window open with vehicle noise and people, but it was just poor seals and single glazing. Very difficult to sleep in these front rooms. Go for the rear of the property!

Skirting boards in the room were filthy and what looked like blood on the sink basin

The room was clean, bed was comfy and staff were friendly. The location and pricing is fantastic, however the shower pressure was so luckluster during our stay. There was more pressure coming out of the sink. I'd love to see this addressed.

The room was clean but in poor condition. The door didn't shut very well and had external impact damage, that had been shoddily repaired. Drawers were broken. Tiling in the bathroom was damaged. Mattress was a solid foam one that was very firm. Everything in the room felt like it was cheap.

Was shown nice room at the time of booking and provide absolutely opposite room. 👎
