Great location - walkable distance to everything including 17th avenue. Pool was wonderful - loved eating and relaxing out there. Room was not the cleanest (e.g., around bedside table, couch).

We had great stay , staff was friendly, restaurant was very good downstairs and hotel was in perfect location for us.

This is the number one hotel I stay at in Calgary. Service and amenities are always great and the rooms are really comfortable.

We were very pleased with everything about our stay at the hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel cleanliness was excellent. We would definitely recommend the Hotel Arts to family and friends.

Nice room but paper thin walls - can hear absolutely everything going on around you. When I checked in, I requested late checkout… the front desk lady asked her manager who said yes. This was obviously not recorded in the system because 3 different housekeepers tried to come into my room, and I kept saying I had late checkout. Then, I got a text from the hotel asking me why I was still in the room. Just disorganized. They ended up letting me stay, which was appreciated, but made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them, when they were the ones who said I could stay later when I checked in to begin with? Nice area though, and I would still recommend the property.

What a fun vibe and layout!! Really ennoyed the room. Staff service whioe at either one of their lounges/poolside/ bars were unfoetunately slow moving and almost felt like it was normal there to leave a cautomer allne for over an hour, strange. Either way lived the hotel. Just would have nice to be noticed by waiting staff

Some construction in the area but it’s a fantastic hotel and the employees are incredible

The pool was cool, made it feel more resort like. The staff were nice and prompt. The game room was cool too.

Von dem Hotel ist größtenteils alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen: Lebenmittelläden, Restaurants, Pub, Shopping und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Personal am Empfang war immer hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber und modern eingerichtet. Das Hotel ist für einen Städtetrip auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

We booked this hotel for a renowned actor who came directly from TIFF. Unfortunately he couldnt sleep in the afternoon due to persistent drilling from the construction site. We booked luxury suite and there is nothing luxurious about the space and the noise was unbearable. We need a full refund

Safety requires you to not use the pool if it rains because of possible lightning was annoying. The place is really nice. Food and drink are expenssive.

Room was clean. The pool was very cold.

Very expensive hotel and a very rundown room. Air conditioner was leaking on the carpet, carpet was soaked, room needed painting, shower tap was wore out, and the vinyl on the headboard was all peeled. There are much nicer hotels in Calgary for half this inflated price!

Great hotel. Gilbert was delightful checking us in and refunded an early arrival charge (his idea!) because we weren't all that early. The hotel is nicely appointed, the room quite comfortable. Located in downtown Calgary, the Arts is literally steps from a variety of dining choices from sports bar like spots to middle and high end restaurants with a variety of offerings. Calgary is a hopping place. Our only disappointment with the Arts was in the bellhop who accepted a generous tip for taking the bags up, then accepted another generous tip from me a a couple minutes later. He should have declined my tip, explaining that my wife had already tipped him.

Did not like it

The pool was a plus, prefer the original tower of rooms vs the new wing or rooms
