A charmer in upper-town, steps from the Chateau! Loved our spacious room (4 nts), updated bath and amenities. Some furniture is dated but doesn't impact the charm! Wonderful staff - great bar and food options on main floor and patio. Perfect!

Hotel Sainte-Anne is a perfectly wonderful location to walk around and explore old Quebec City. My room with a gas fireplace overlooked the cobblestone walkway and the restaurant. I could even see the top of the lit up Fairmont from my window.
For those who overpack or are less able bodied, please note that you cannot drive up to the entrance. You must park temporarily on one of the two cross streets. Additionally, there are three steps up from the outdoor dining area into the small lobby. The location is well worth it.

The location of this hotel was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a basic hotel with minimal amenities but it was very clean, with comfortable rooms. Would 100% stay here again

La chambre sous le toit au 4iè étage avait un charme particulier, avec ses poutres en évidence et fenêtres avec vue sur le château Frontenac! À éviter pour les très grandes personnes ou corpulents. Le personnel est attentionné et était très désolé que notre chambre ne soit pas prête lors de notre arrivée, dû aux passagers d'une croisière qui ne respectait pas l'heure du check-out qui est quand même à midi, ce qui est très apprécié. L'hôtel est superbement situé dans une rue piétonne à distance de marche de toutes les attractions du Vieux-Québec.

When they found out that it is our anniversary trip, they have included a beautiful gift for us. Thank you for the thoughtful gift.
Awesome and central location for Old Quebec, room is very tidy and clean; wish there are more hooks in the washroom for towels; washroom is very stylish and modern but a bit less practical for two people sharing it;
Courtyard is actually sealed off from outside elements, kind of a cool thing.
Uber or taxi can’t drop off at the front, but it is still SUPER closed to the road side so that is never an issue.
Restaurants below is also a big plus, as our stay happens to be during a number of thunderstorms, so not having to go out to find food that night helps a lot; inside the hotel it is almost as if there’s no thunderstorms at all; amazing!
Overall an amazing stay; definitely recommend.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly! We loved the quaintness of the hotel; however, it was difficult for our taxi driver to find as there is no vehicle path in front of this hotel so dealing with several pieces of luggage was challenging. I think Expedia should have alerted us to this- thus the four stars. The hotel itself and the staff, including a very good on-site restaurant, deserve five stars!

After spending the previous 4 days in a cheaper airbnb , how great it is to stay in a hotel. Hôtel Sainte-Anne is in a wonderful location, reasonable costs, and has large spacious rooms built in what appears to be a historic building. Because the hotel is built within an older building, the layouts can be untraditional, but it adds some charm and ends up being bigger than your average hotel room. Everything is clean, with no odours, nice beds, and helpful staff. It's everything you expect in a hotel room and executed well.

Very centrally located and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean but has no room for personal items. Maybe add a shelf below the sink. No plugins by the bed but managed to find others in the room.
