Air conditioner was very noisy. breakfast can't be called it. there is nothing, especially for kids.

This hotel bills itself as a “Boutique Hotel” but it seemed like a kitschy way of explaining why the property was frozen in the 80’s. My room (king suite) was very spacious, but had many issues: crumpled tissues and other small litter left on the floor, small blood stains on the bed sheet, insufficient towels, stopper for tub did not work. These all can be put down to lack of attention by cleaning staff. Fortunately the duty staff was excellent in resolving all the issues and even offered to move me to another room. I was pleasantly surprised by a partial refund when I checked out the next day. The continental breakfast was very limited, so if you’re a big eater you might want to plan to go out for breakfast. Upon checking in, the hotel will offer you a coupon for 15% off a number of downtown restaurants. I urge you to take advantage of this, the restaurants were all nearby(5-10) walking distance) and their offerings were very good. We went to the Brick House Craft Burger Restaurant and the food and prices were excellent!! One final note is parking. The hotel offers free parking at the local municipal parking garage, but it is a 5 minute block-and-half away. Despite the issues with the room, we would be willing to go back to this hotel.

The hotel is definitely dated but is in good shape. Our room was large but the bed wasn’t good. You rolled into the middle and the pillows were flat. The breakfast was ok. It was continental. The location is great for being central.

Staff was fairly attentive to the challenges we had with our first room and were able to switch us into a new room within the same hour. Second room though had outdated air conditioner that did not cool the (very hot) room down until the next morning. Will not be staying here again

More run down than we expected, bathroom not very clean. We slept fine, despite noisy area, but the hotel is pretty basic.

Spacious room with fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Walkable or bikable to all you need.

I booked from hotel .com Peterborough inn suite a king size room but they gave me a room with terrible bed on the first day and the pillow cases were not change . Towels in the bathroom when we check in April 25 are dirty and no bottle water at all. So I complained on the front desk about it and he Said he can’t do anything coz cleaners left and he just gave me pillow cases for me to change the pillows and towels as well.in addition, bath soaps are so small . I’m so disappointed on my 2 days in the hotel

It was very conveniently located and excellent value.

When we arrived we had to have someone come.to close the blind since it was so high we couldn't access it. The room temperature was at 25 which was far too warm. We turned on the air conditioner but it wasn't working very well. We ended up taking the filters out and they were black with dirt. The guys at the front desk cleaned them and brought them back to the room. The washroom wasn't the cleanest. There was brown all around the sink and the amount if soap scum in the bottom of the shower curtain was atrocious. The beds need to be updated. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The one that I slept in tilted to the headboard so you were constantly feeling like you were sliding. The person thst I slept with was literally 2 inches lower than I was when lying down. When checking out the person did not seem interested in knowing what any if the issues were. I don't think I would spend my money on this hotel again.

It was conveniently located, we just walked to dinner and our concert! Also staff at the hotel was great! Room was nice too. All in al it was perfect!!

Honestly the only thing missing from this “Bates Motel” was Norman himself. The rooms are extremely dated, the bed was so uncomfortable just to sit on. The windows are filthy and covered in bugs and no screens on the windows to air the place out. They use some sort of cheap carpet fresh stuff and enough of it that the whole place smells like cheap masked floral smell. Awful experience I left after 10 minutes and went to the Holiday Inn Express Waterfront which was excellent! I will say the staff here though was friendly and accommodated us when we first got there because the room wasn’t ready. I will never ever go here again. Ever.

They must have had carpet or something cleaned and it left a terrible odour in the room and kept us up all night. Should have asked for a room change but that was my fault. The s staff should have noticed it and the tv did not work at all . Give it a 3 out of 10

Breakfast taken away 1/2 hour early Condom wrapper on the floor and stain on our sheets.

Bed was horrible. Got lectured when booked in about not having a credit card. Got told you really should have one. Won't be staying here again.
