The room was extremely clean bed was so confortable

Courteous staff had to deal with no heat in the room after facility staff had gone home. Provided a space heater that worked until morning.

This hotel is very old and could use some sprucing up. It was very cold in our room since it is heated only by a low powered gas fireplace. It took about 4 hrs to warm the room. It was tidy but not super clean. Very old carpet, cobwebs in the corner by the bed, and some hairs in the bathroom. The water pressure was great! The breakfast was basically bread and cereal.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past 15 years, and it has gone downhill. Although the staff were pleasant, and the various issues were attended to when I asked (when I arrived, TV didn't work, fireplace wasn't checked for operation, hot water was unavailable; and bulbs were missing in ceiling lamps), the room felt run down. There was no lighting accessible from the bed area, so the suite was difficult to navigate at night. There was no mattress protector under the sheet; I wasn't comfortable opening curtains, as windows were facing the room from the building across the roof. The old digital clock was wrong, and while I could change the minutes, the hour setting could not be changed. Everything, generally, felt dingy and sad.

First of all, your staff are amazing. Check in and check out went well and they were so helpful, kind, and professional. What could improve is the room. Although we had a lovely room, with a couch and fireplace, the bed was horrible. We both banged our toes FOUR times within the first half hour. We finally put some luggage in front to remind us that the bottom protrudes from the bed. My husband looked at the cause, and it was being held up by a wooden block; thus the reason that the bed tilted to one side. Like, come on..... It would also be helpful to have a microwave in the room. It was awkward going downstairs to heat up food that I had in the lobby/breakfast area. The room was clean, and that was nice. Parking is a bit away. Since this is the case, you should offer more luggage racks for those of us who don't travel light. The last negative is the 'continental breakfast'. It was one of the worst that we have encountered on our travels, ever.... Bread, bagels, yogourt and some fruit are measly pickings for a 'continental' breakfast.

Listing for hotel doesn't mention there's only street parking available. Traveling with a big truck and trailer during a snowstorm so can't park on the street. Had to book a second hotel for the night. Hoping they will provide refund as I explained my situation to the nice lady on the desk and she understood the problem

Nice staff. Large room. Very dated decor. TV didn’t work

Staff and room were excellent. An older hotel showing its age however everything was clean and functional. Love a fireplace. Very quiet and bed was shockingly comfortable.

Breakfast was mostly carbs.

Room was absolutely disgusting. Stains on the sheets carpets are old and tired like the beds and bedding. It smelled terrible. This is the kind of place that probably rents by the hour. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. If you have no choice then order a hazmat suit on Amazon before you go. Needless to say I threw out the clothes I wore in that place. Staff was warm and friendly.

Toilet was not working properly, running continuously until the flapper in the tank was manually closed. Strong nauseating fragrance in the room. Uncomfortable beds. Room was next to lobby and breakfast area.

The person at the front desk was super nice and polite. The mini fridge was a bit hard to open since it wasn’t even level and it went forward and to the side. I found a lonooog black hair on my pillow. Not enough shampoo and soft was for two people.
