サンドマン ホテル オークヴィル

チェックインの際、フロントに行きましたが、誰もいませんでした。呼ぶための案内があるわけでもなく、10分ぐらい待ちました。 私は初めてこのホテルに行ったのですが、鍵を私に渡すだけで、部屋の位置やエレベーターの場所など全く説明がありませんでした。宿泊した部屋は3回でしたが、団体が宿泊していたのか、エレベーター降りてから部屋に着くまでの間、10人以上と思われるものすごい大きな声が響き渡っていました。 私を不安にさせたのは、鍵が取り外された跡があり、ドアに隙間があったことです。 部屋の窓からは、ホテルの室外機らしきものがたくさん見え、夜中とてもうるさかったです。 チェックアウトで部屋から荷物を持ってエレベーターに向かう際、掃除のカートが廊下のど真ん中に置いてあり、上向きになっていたモップを避けきれず、娘の頭についてしまった。 駐車場が無料なのはありがたかったです。

Good hotel for the night

Pool and hot tub were very clean, with plenty of towels. We got a free upgrade to a room with better mobility for my friend who needs it and were offered an extended check out as well, since we would need extra time. Honestly, can’t wait to come back!

There were bugs in my bed and the shower.

The staff was fantastic! So friendly, helpful and approachable! Would stay again!!! Only complaint would be the QEW was VERY loud.

The hot tub was soooo nice. I was surprised with a $15.00 discount coupon that I could use at either of the two restaurants. This made up for not having a free breakfast buffet. The staff was friendly, professional and made you feel at home. Being able to leave the parking lot and in a few seconds and be on the QEW/403 was nice. We were minutes away from Sheridan College. It was nice having a Denny's. I thought they were only in the U.S.

checked in Thurs evening, and went for a swim and a soak in the hot tub, the temperature of both was excellent and relaxing after the flight and drive. Friday didn't have a chance to use the pool or hot tub, Saturday morning at 915 am wanted to take advantage of them, as i swam a couple lengths and did my exercises in the pool, the guy that had been standing at the front desk talking when i walked by, came in and said to the guy in the hot tub that he'll turn it on now, he went into the mechanical room and came out and left, as i Went into the hot tub i asked the guy sitting in there how the water was, to which he replied its cold and he only turned it on now. ?? I sat for a minute in luke warm water, when i went to the front desk to ask why? She replied well maintaince doesn't start work till 9. So at 930 after he finished his conversion with the front desk lady he came to start the hot tub?? The hours are listed as open at 8 am to 10 pm. So then WHY ISN'T THE WATER TEMPERATURE AT THE LEVEL IT SHOULD BE AT?? it would then take a while for the water temperature to reach the level it is supposed to be at. Why advertise your hours as they are? If the hot tub temperature isn't relaxing and ready to use?? After i went back to my room to change, i came out to grab a tea from the complimentary counter and it was being cleared up. No where was a sign or was i told the hours of the complimentary counter. I then was told the hours were 6-10 a.m. ??? 2 handicapped stalls available?

Noisy air conditioning and it was hot night.

Excellent stay ! Staff was great and so awsome! Special shout out to Suzanne and all the front desk team !! Very convenient location as well with lots of shipping and dining nearby.

Nice property , wonderful, friendly staff

The staff was friendly and there were several dining options close by. My suggestion is that the reception area should keep the complementary coffee during the day.

Always a great place to stay

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. There were cosmetic scratches on the room door and the dressers in the room. The hotel is very convenient to the Oakville and Burlington area, and the GO train is minutes away. I will stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The amenities were great, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The location was also very convenient. My daughter absolutely loved the pool, so we used it often during our stay. It was always clean and well maintained, and there were always plenty of towels available. We also really enjoyed the hot tub! It was such a relaxing and enjoyable part of our trip. The only small downside was that our room was on the inner side of the second floor, so we didn’t really have a view outside. But overall, everything was excellent and we had a wonderful experience. Would definitely stay again!

Hospitable staff, clean hotel.

Clean comfortable great location. Bathrooms show some needing of repair. Front desk very nice and welcoming. We always stay here when in Oakville
