I always have a great experience at this Sandman. Front Desk staff are very friendly and accommodating...rooms are always clean....and CHOP is always a great experience!

Check-in was awesome. We paid extra for the King Jacuzzi suite, got a voucher for Chop! The room was on the 3rd floor, facing the highway. The first thing we noticed was how loud the traffic was (we understand the hotel is situated next to the QEW, however, no soundproofing so the sound of engine breaks & cars made staying asleep hard (earplugs!) We were excited to use the pool, which is in need of some major TLC. The pool itself was very dirty, you can tell it hasn’t been vacuumed & deep cleaned in a long long time, scum build up along edges, water in the hot tub was badly in need of a change- murky at best, kind of gross. The room itself was generally clean, lots of towels, especially since we had opted for the Jacuzzi tub. The bathroom was very disappointing. The shower faucet handle was extremely stiff and felt like it was gonna break off in our hands, we barely got lukewarm water at 7pm and the shower tub was so badly, BADLY clogged that by the end of my shower I was standing in more than ankle deep shower water & gunk that came up from the drain and took forever to drain. The bath products are the cheapest available too, don’t forget to bring your own! So because of the lack of hot water we already experienced, we decided to not use the in-room jacuzzi tub, wasn’t worth the hassle of potential issues. Also, uber etc. food deliveries not allowed up. I know I sound like a miserable wench but honestly for the price we paid, we feel ripped off. Won’t be back.

Very friendly helpful front desk staff

Really enjoyed my stay here. Front desk staff were very friendly, informative, and welcoming. We had a jetted tub suite with kitchen and it was more than enough space for my partner and I. Tub and shower were both amazing. Bed super comfortable. Super quiet, we didn’t hear any noise at all during our stay. Denny’s and a steak house attached to the hotel, which is convenient. The only thing to note is some fixtures are showing wear. A scratch on the coffee table here, a pull in the couch cushion there. I don’t care about that stuff but just a heads up if you’re picky about that. Will definitely stay here again though.

Bath tub was not clean

Room was right beside the highway, very noisy and hard to sleep, we werent warned. Bathroom was run down, shower taps were coming off the wall, bathroom door hinge was coming off the wall, lighting was too low, price too high for what we got

AC was perfect, Hotel it is next to the plaza few restaurants in the area. Hotel is small but confortable.

Nice hotel

Don’t stay on the first floor by elevators and pool. Lots of kids here for hockey tournaments ir whatever event and the noise on that first level is steady until after 10pm.
