Het personeel is erg aardig en behulpzaam. De kamer is oud. De verroeste verwarmingsstrips laten los. Het was koud want in het “season” is de verwarming uitgeschakeld. Het bed was prima en ook de douche was heerlijk. Het’ bureau’ is een kastje waar de deur is uitgehaald en er is weinig verlichting Wel lekker dicht bij de bushalte ( 2’ lopen)

Déjeuner continental assez ordinaire dans un endroit un peu restreint. Le savon à lessive impregnait les draps et serviettes d'une odeur de parfum floral très forte voire étouffante. L'endroit est bruyant dû à sa situation collée sur l'autoroute ce que, je conçois, est impossible a changer mais bon à savoir.

I can’t say enough nice things about our stay here. We spent five nights, the rooms are clean and comfortable, great showers. The staff, Sarah Danielle and another woman (maybe Joyce) were exceptionally kind and helpful to us. The breakfast was simple, something new each day and always fresh and delicious. Easy commute to downtown by car and bus. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Breakfast wasnt much. AC didnt work. Old windows I could hear every car and truck go down the highway. Pigeon family roosted on the fire escape beside my room amd coo-ed all night. Has potential but needs things fixed!

I will start with the good. The room was clean, the rate was cheap, and the beds were comfy; the pillows were lumpy, but I get that in fancy hotels as well. The images on the website are not what the rooms look like, as they are being redone with super cheap furniture. One of the frames in the room had broken glass, and one of the outlets was not working. The bathroom was missing the toilet paper holder, but I am going to be nice and assume that has to do with renovations. The internet would also drop randomly. I would say it is priced a little high for what it is. If you are looking for a cheap stay, this is a good option, but do not expect much.

Good

Hotel is in the older side as they give you an actual key for your room. The AC wasn’t that cold so we slept with the window open but the fresh breeze was nice too. TVs on the smaller side, at least ours was. Great shower amenities and you can ask to borrow a hair dryer while there. The electrical outlet beside our bed was questionable and wouldn’t work unless the light switch was turned on. Great 13 minute drive to Halifax’s waterfront. Parking can be tight in the evening once everyone is back from their day out. Some parking behind the hotel but hard to see your car if you’re not facing that way. Bed was super comfy, one side squeaky if rolled over. Staff were super nice and accommodating to what we needed. Good hotel for the price. Would recommend for them to put more mirrors in their rooms as another space to get ready besides the bathroom.

Pictures are not true to the condition of the property and people giving 5 stars reviews are untrue. We came to know that property management gives 10$ Tim hortons gift cards for the 5 stars reviews and should not be trusted. Mattress lumpy and bed was making squiky sound with smallest movement, couldn't sleep. Bathroom didn't have basic things like toilet paper holder or proper lock. There was no heating in the room even though it was about 2 degrees. When asked for room heater, one provided didn't work. Had to press to get another in working condition.

Minimal basics but clean and comfortable place to stay with helpful staff.

Avoid staying at this hotel! It is run down, smells musty and has mold. It is very dirty and looks nothing like the photos. By far the worst hotel I've ever been in. My wife and I had to leave immediately after seeing our room because it was so terrible.

Location was great, i’m very close to restaurants and walk back.

I booked my room months in advance , tried to contact the hotel to request a room on the ground floor . Was finnaly answered when I arrived and told they couldn't give us a room on the ground floor but to check again tomorow . We did and was told they would let us know and never did . Only give you one room key so whenever I went out I had to ask to be let back in my room as my partner was working and took the key with him.The staff were honestly very sweet and kind , they didn't offer housekeeping but the ladies I asked clean towels and coffee from were so so sweet . Walls are paper thin , internet cut out all the time which made watching anything impossible . The breakfast went down hill since the last time I stayed( had pancakes ,waffles selection of pasteries) . They Had pastries, bagles and yogurt . Some fresh fruit was available as well . I was so disappointed this time that I cannot imagine booking here again . Parking is ok ,however they are building a new apt block so the construction workers park in the hotel parking which doesn't leave alot of space . I wouldn't say avoid as it is pretty close distance to the mall ,superstore, shoppers drug mart and Walmart just be aware .
