Room clean, common spaces need serious love, lobby and food area nice

Everything was disappointing.

Breakfast included. Give you choices to stay upstairs or downstairs. Cold room perfect for a yellow warning weather. Staffs are nice. Parking available.

"seasoned inn" might be a better title. Just needs some work. There seems to be construction and reno going on all around, so it's hard to tell if maybe I just got a bit of bad luck because I booked last minute. That said, only one of the wash cloths seemed to be clean, the door lock latch was busted, and the tv was magnificently small . I passed on the offering of "free breakfast" (prefab danish and low end coffee machine) and was happy to be out of there. The staff was nice enough, but the place was frankly under disrepair

We had a great experience with the staff at this hotel. As a group of 10, they accommodated us by allowing a late check-out at 12pm and stored our luggage with no issue. When we noticed the AC wasn’t working in one of our rooms, the front desk came promptly to check it. Although it couldn’t be fixed right away, they offered fans which worked fine for us since we were out for the day and checking out the next day. The location is excellent — close to shopping malls and restaurants, and only about a 15-minute drive to the boardwalk waterfront / Halifax ferry From check-in to check-out, the staff were friendly, helpful, and gave great recommendations for things to do and taxis around the area. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Season Inn Halifax from Sunday to Friday and experienced a major issue with the heating in my room. By Tuesday, I noticed the heater was not working. I reported this on Wednesday morning and was told it would be fixed, but when I returned later in the day, nothing had been done. When I contacted the front desk again, I was informed that the heater for the entire building was not active and that a blanket would be provided instead. This is not an acceptable solution, especially considering Halifax weather. I then asked for the manager’s email so I could send a formal complaint. Shortly after that request, the receptionist called me to come to the front desk to collect a portable heater. While I appreciated the eventual effort, it only happened after I insisted on escalating the issue. The room was uncomfortable for days, and the communication from staff was inconsistent. A basic amenity like heating should be reliable, and guests should not have to push for a proper solution. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and future guests should be aware of these issues before booking.

Expensive for what they offer. For one of the nights we paid around $ 350. In the description says housekeeping daily, but you need to request. I requested, but was not done. In general is clean and mattress is good.

I will never stay at this hotel again. The only reason we ended up here was because Halifax was experiencing major water events, and every other hotel in the city was completely booked up. It was a massive mistake. The Room & Safety Issues: Fire Hazard: The room setup is genuinely unsafe. There were far too many appliances and electronics crammed and plugged into a single power bar. Poor Ventilation & Odor: The room smelled incredibly musty. There is zero air circulation, forcing us to keep the window open. However, because we were on the second floor, smokers were constantly standing directly below our window talking and smoking, so our room just filled with secondhand smoke instead. Lack of Maintenance: The bathroom shower vent was caked in thick dust and clearly hasn't been cleaned in years. On top of that, the bathroom body products weren't refilled and were less than half empty when we checked in, and the hair dryer didn't even work. Thin Walls: It’s a wood-construction building, meaning you will hear absolutely everything. The guests above us created an unbearable amount of noise just by walking around. Review Bribery: Don't believe any good reviews you see for this place. They literally bribe guests with a $10 Tim Hortons gift card if they agree to leave a five-star review. It's completely dishonest. Unprofessional Staff: The daytime receptionists were shockingly unprofessional, openly swearing and cursing right in front of guests.

Hotel was fine. Staff was amazing. Neighborhood was kind of eh.

Breakfast is not much of an option, the coffee dispenser is old, and the handle is kind of broken and coffee drips over it from people's hands, and is very disgusting. It needs to be replaced. Toilet roll paper is broken, there is no blow-dryer and iron, the bathroom is outdated. Parking isn't enough, the date check-in, the staff are rude and not helpful. The building is outdated. In all this condition, it is overpriced.
