Elvie is so nice and welcoming. She really made sure we got everything we need and even printed us a list of tourist spots that we can look and visit. She is very helpful during our stay! I highly commend the service.

No breakfast restaurant, room face back alley which is noisy in the morning when trucks are loading and unloading.

Hotel was newly reno'd and I had a great time at Big Bad John's, the hillbilly dive bar on the ground floor, with an entrance steps from the lobby door.

Staff was great, Anja and Jesse at the front desk were always smiling and helpful. Great location for being right downtown to everything I wanted to get to.

Firstly they gave us the key to the wrong room the first night, the next morning they called us and said we needed to move to another room as our sink wasn’t working and the third nigh they gave someone else our key to the third room we had to move to so yeah a horrible experience and expensive as well, I fell we should be at leaf refunded some of our money for all the inconveniences

Newly renovated . Very comfortable.

Our room was spacious with 2 super comfy queen beds...comfy pillows too. It had a nice little entry with a bench and coat space which was nice in the cooler weather. The bathroom was very clean and roomy as well. We were able to spread out easily. We were very impressed with the room and would stay again. The hotel is a bit dated/old school but in good condition. But that is the whole vibe of the hotel. It was in a great location for strolling and shopping. And an easy uber to lots of sights. There is a bit of unhoused population in the area but it is no different than any part of the tourist area. Did not feel unsafe. Thanks for the hospitality.

It was an emergency trip and the staff was very accommodating. We also were given a nice quiet room.

Staff were excellent. Friendly and highly capable. Room is great and location wonderful for access to all that downtown has on offer.

Had a room facing Douglas, it was noisy, next time I stay I will ask for a room away from the street

We had a lovely 5 day stay the Strathcona Hotel. It was clean, quiet and all the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The room was very clean, all the house keeping staff were so friendly. The front reception team was so helpful and kind. Would definitely stay there again! Anja and Josie (or maybe it was Rosie) were very welcoming.

I request free hotel parking but i was advised i had to pay for parking and also parking was not on site it was a block away I requested free breakfast was handed a coupon for 10% off for breakfast Staff gave me free parking they adviced i need to complain to expedia regarding yhis issues
