Beautiful hotel very friendly staff restaurant needs big improvement

We loved the charm of the property, the attention to detail and the attentiveness of the staff. The location is fantastic, as well! The off-site parking was a bit inconvenient and the rooms were a little damp. But overall, our experience was wonderful and we will be back!

La atención del personal y el servicio, muy buenos y eficientes. Cada vez que viaje a Cuenca procuraré hospedarme en este hotel que, además, está en pleno centro histórico de la ciudad.

Rooms on the ground floor quite noisy as kitchen is right there and starts working early as well as many guests have to pass this aera.

When we got in to the Hotel, the lady in the front told us that they never got an confirmation of ORBITZ which seems really weird because I guess everything is automated. So she gave us an option to stay in two triple rooms the night we arrived but we were getting relocated to another hotel nearby. So we went through the process of checking out the next day and checkin in to the other hotel. Hotel was two blocks distance from San Juan so it wasn´t that hard, but the hotel itself (Hotel Inca Real) was one of the worst hotels I´ve stayed, the floor cracks every time you step, theres a bell in the main entrance so you can hear every ring from your room, soundproofing is non existent at all and the buffet breakfast is extremely limited and I believe that there is a big price gap between the two hotels. I trully didnt like what happened and I´m not sure if it was a problem of ORBITZ or San Juan Hotel staff, but it was a non pleasant experience which I don´t want to repeat in my life.

The hotel was very nice. The staff (esp. Claudia, Paola , and Karina) was outstanding and very friendly. The staff was helpful, caring about our well being and followed up on every request we made. They found a english speaking driver, for us, that was very good. We have nothing bad to say about the hotel, and our stay. An absolute 5/5.

The reservation was wrong, they gave my parents a wrong room. But the servicios was available to change and do and update to my original reservation. Very good service

Enjoyed very much. Good service, beautiful interior. Down side: Parking is in a locked lot two blocks away. OK if you're taking taxis, but inconvenient if you're driving. No A/C or heat, but it wasn't a problem for us in late May.

We were so pleased with our stay at San Juan Hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. We speak very little Spanish and there was always someone available who spoke English. The hotel is beautiful old style Spanish with a really lovely courtyard. We requested a room with a window that opened to the outside courtyard. So glad we did as not all of the rooms have an outside window. Room and bathroom were very spacious and very clean. The hotel is centrally located, within 2-3 blocks of several markets, the Cathedral, shops, cafes, etc.

reserve habitación doble superior con vista, con jacuzzi separado ducha. No las tenían disponibles y me dieron una interior sin Yanuzzi separado. Me facturaron 258 dolares porque la habitación era más económica y ustedes me debitaron 340,55 espero vuestro contacto para resolver este inconveniente.

Tuvimos un problema con la reserva del hotel, apartamento reservado era un catergoria más pequeños porque no tenía más vacantes. No había aparcamiento como se informa en la reserva. Sin estos problemas, gran hotel.

El hotel es colonial y muy bonito, el servicio excelente. El único problema es el acceso al hotel ya que las calles del centro de la ciudad estan destruidas.
