It was a very hidden away hotel and a great place to be if you are looking to be close to Gatwick for early flights, the bed was super comfy and the excitement of our holiday we couldn’t sleep but it was easy to access and only a few minutes away by taxi. Thank you so much for having us and it is one I would recommend

Amazing

Dreadful place to stay. There was strange smell in whole of the property. This is a run down place, though thr bed was clean and towels were provided so was a kettle for tea/coffee. The receiptioinst was friendly and helpful. You get what you pay for, or may be even less in this case.

I’m sure Barrington lodge at one time was a great place to stay… everything was a little dated and not much has been done in the way of upgrades.. the room itself was ok, beds and linen were fresh but the bathroom and shower looked like they hadn’t been cleaned since the last occupants… price was good but one night was enough. I was ok with the condition but there is no way my wife would have stayed there. Nothing around the area in the way of amenities.. uber is your friend…

Good cleanliness & value for money. No other facilities apart from rooms which were very clean. Tea/coffee making facilities but excellent location for The Hawth Theatre.

Small but clean and comfortable room. Helpful staff via emails. No staff actually seen.

Property was unusually located in a housing estate, rooms were basic but comfortable enough. Could see into neighbours houses but disnt experience any issues

We had a one night stay with the family. We checked in the afternoon then spent the day with family and came back to the room late at night to sleep. The hotel gave clear instructions on how to enter the hotel after hours which we found very useful and gives a sense of security. The room felt like it had not been aired out in preparation for guests. The bathroom was quite dusty and aged, needed thorough cleaning and/or upgrading. The family room had two double beds separated by a drawer with a TV on top. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. The hotel is in a quiet area. The parking is very minimal, luckily there was space when we arrived.

Great area, great transport system that runs 24/7. Could do with some cleaning in certain areas of the room such as the bathroom radiator. Bathroom door. Other than that was fine

Excellent overnight stop as read for other reviews, some noise(music) herd form outside until late but quiet in the morning.

Second time staying here, close to airport, in a quiet area. Nothing fancy, but has worked great for us
