Staff excellent very clean pool very good disappointed there was no disabled access to the spa

Friendly staff, loved the pool! Gym was pretty sufficient too! Had a relaxing 3 nights, would come again :)

Great location, management is very confused from the general manager and the deputy manager who is very aggressive. I wonder how she worked in such an industry. Strange that at such a priced place, there seems not to be clear communication between the top management and the receptionists!! Very strange and unprofessional. The rest of the staff are very kind and polite, very friendly. Cleanliness not the best I have seen for that price, squeaky floors, no toilet brush, amenities are for a single person in a double roomed booking and you have to keep asking for more even when staying for more than 1 night. Other facilities are great, the swimming pool, the spa (which is chargeable even to residents). The breakfast is just okay. Seen Berger at more affordable places. Generally the stay was just comfortable and nothing much really surprising.

Clean comfortable room.

My husband & I arrived on a Friday and we're fairly late arriving, we were shocked at the price of the parking, the sign said £18 per day. You have to use an app which I do not like! We walked to reception and booked in. We were told our room was on third floor. We got in the lift and went up, as soon as the doors opened the heating hit us! We found our room and went in. Again the heat hit us! No a/c or even a fan.Hubby opened a small window and we found we were above the kitchen and had all the heat vents below us. The room was decorated poorly and hubby noticed paint on the frames of pictures where they hadn't been removed. The bed was clean at least, the pillows were awful and I had to ask for a third to make a bit of a even level. The bathroom did not have a window and no extractor so smelt damp. The towel rail/ radiator was not even plumbed in! The room was not worth the money paid! We've had better in a Travelodge! The pool was clean but did not visit the spa so can not comment on that. Having looked forward to staying and seeing family we left early on Sunday just purely to get away from the heat. Food was ok but a small menu. Pricey too. We won't be staying there again!

Dissapointing there is no fried eggs at breakfast.

Very nice stay, family friendly place, kids love the pool and breakfast.

We always enjoy our stay at West Cliff hotel.Staff are very friendly and helpful, the pool and garden areas are great for the kids to have fun whilst adults relax. Would be nice to have some bottled water in rooms. Could do with shampoo and body wash pumps in the bathrooms instead of very small bottles that are supplied. Short walk to the beach but far enough away from late night activaties in the main town which I prefer when little ones stay. Resturant and bar very nice and food is alway good.

We’ve never stayed anywhere as noisy as this. The walls seem paper-thin and you can hear absolutely everything, from conversations, snoring to private moments. The creaky floorboards and loud doors made it even worse, with constant noise throughout the night. Unfortunately, we ended up leaving two nights early because we simply couldn’t get any sleep and couldn’t bare another night of that. However the room itself was fine and clean, but the noise levels made the stay very uncomfortable.

The breakfast was limited and dishes took a long time to be replenished.

Rooms are in excellent condition, staff are very welcoming and smiley. Hospitality checked.😀😀😀

We didn't use the Spa which I am sure is lovely, its an additional cost and we didn't have time. The lobby is also ok, its the rooms! The bed was comfy but the bath, shower attachment and shower curtain were from the 1970's as was the furniture in the room - minimal toiletries - 2 mini shampoo bottles! A spa hotel is the implication, but it certainly not that !

The rooms were spacious. Breakfast, pool and spa facilities were very good.

This hotel is concentrating more on being a spa ,no amenities in room,no in room safe,no ability to charge food and bar to room,,very small room ,no room service,will not stay in this hotel agsin
