Hampton by Hilton Torquay

清潔さと駅からの近さでこのホテルを選びました。期待通りでしたので非常に満足しています。フロントも24時間対応で、対応も暖かく親切でした。廊下や上の階の歩く音がやや響くので、神経質な方は気になるかもしれませんが、騒がしいといった事は特にありませんでした。アメニティーや最新の設備という意味では充分とは言えませんが、ロンドンは宿泊量が高いのでその点に照らせば値段相応だと思います。全体として大変満足しています。

Good situation as close to centre.

Lovely clean and great sized room. Nice breakfast too, great for the price

Great welcome - very friendly gentleman at reception allowed us to check in an hour is so early, which was very helpful as we had my elderly mother with us. Very clean rooms, great to have a mini fridge with the heatwave at the time, great shower. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of variety, well cooked food and nice atmosphere. Juice from a machine, but this was ok. Top tips: 1) Be aware the entrance for when you first arrive is not the one opposite the harbour (you can’t use that one until you have checked in and have a key card), The main entrance is at the rear on a small hill and although there are double yellow lines outside it is a quiet street and so, as we did, you could easily drop people and luggage off before going to park. There is a large car park just up the hill (then either a short slope to walk down over the car entrance side or a LOT of steps down from the other side). If not dropped off first, I suggest those with mobility issues avoid the steps side and with a little care for traffic, use the slope entrance side to walk down to the hotel after parking instead (it’s much closer to the hotel entrance from that side than the bottom of the steps). 2) The car parks in Torquay all use the RINGO app (although some take cash too).

Everything was beter than expected. First class

It's my favourite hotel in Torquay. Rooms are spotlessly clean, the bar area is very nice and the complementary breakfast is really high-quality.

Bedrooms were a great size breakfast was very good and hot, the staff were exceptional. the plus side was the lift down to street level , had a wonderful stay in Torquay.

Clean room and well situated on the sea front

We asked for a view of the bay and was to,d that there was a £30 per night surcharge. We have stayed here before but never ever were charged a surcharge. Last time mt friends, we have a lot of choice.

Great stay again at the Hampton Hilton Torquay Great sea view over the harbour with direct exit with bar and restaurant around with short walk to shops. Car park around the back in Torbay council carpark. Breakfast, self service with a fresh selection

Five stars really aren’t enough for this fantastic hotel! Great staff, great facilities and in a great location. This hotel really does have it all but at the end of the day, it is the staff that make your stay so enjoyable! Thank you Hampton by Hilton😁

Our stay at Hampton by Hilton Torquay lived up to the brand’s reputation for consistency and in several areas, exceeded expectations. Parking was straightforward, with ample options both on-street and in a nearby multi-storey just a short walk away (under 200 yards), which made arrival and daily outings very easy. The hotel foyer was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out, with useful local information readily available. Our room was on the smaller side compared to typical U.S. standards, though that’s fairly typical across Europe. It was, however, well equipped, including a small fridge for drinks, and stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries. One thing to note: the mattress is very firm. Those who prefer a harder bed will likely appreciate it, but it wasn’t quite to our liking and resulted in some back discomfort during our stay. A more significant downside was the inability to open the bedroom window. This meant relying entirely on the air conditioning, which worked perfectly well but we would have preferred the option of fresh air. Breakfast was included in our rate and was a real positive. There was a good selection each morning, with both hot items and a solid continental offering, all fresh and well presented. The location is excellent within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, local bus routes, and around 15 minutes on foot to two nearby rail stations. We stayed for six nights and would happily return.

Two night stay which was very pleasant, friendly staff, clean room , good breakfast, would definitely stay again .

From the moment we checked in everyone was very helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and the bed VERY comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, great choice, everything very fresh, continuously refilled and area kept very clean. Parking in car park opposite hotel was very convenient. All in all a great stay and I will return!

Breakfast offering was great although the food quality could have been better. The room was generally very clean apart from stains on the carpet. Lovely shower. View of the harbour was fantastic, apart from the view over the disused Debenhams building roof.

Breakfast good, be nice to see some vegetarian sausages. Lovely spacious room and beautifully clean and very comfortable beds.

Breakfast was ok but pastries were not warmed up so were hard. Cooked breakfast didn’t look very appealing so I just went with porridge pots, the occasional firm pastry and coffee from the machine which was pretty good.

Nice clean and comfortable room but it overlooked the road by the main entrance and I was disturbed early morning by road noise. Smokers occasionally smoke at the hotel entrance waft smoke as you walk in or out.
