Rude and very Raci**t staff!. Very Rude and condesending especially the night staff on duty 9th and 10th night. . The security staff was kind to cone up to the room and apologise on her behalf. But she was extremely rude , raci*t and condescending!

After reading reviews I took a chance on this hotel . The room was a good size , clean , bathroom and shower all good . Clean bed and free parking . Morrison , McDonald’s and a restaurant next to it . Off the motorway a bit out of the way . Carpets were a bit thin and could do with been replaced . Reading some bad reviews I found my stay adequate . Basic for working purposes but overall would quite happy return again . Don’t be put off by exaggerated bad reviews . Good for the money . If you want a Hilton or Marriot pay double the price of this hotel . You get what you pay for .

Theres nothing to fault clean comfortable and the staff were amazing breakfast all nice and fresh staff very accomadating great value for money would definitely recommend

After reading reviews I was worried about what we were walking into. But we were pleasantly surprised, yes the carpets and rooms are tired and worn, but they were clean and we slept really well. The staff are really friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome and safe. The area was great lots right on the doorstep - Huge Morrisons, Mc Donald’s a pub and eatery, petrol station, take aways. So felt like a safe area at night too. Was regretting booking before we arrived, now for value for money, staff and cleanliness I’d stay here every time.

We only stayed for one night on a trip to Sheffield. It was a pretty convenient stop to rest. A bit outdated which is not a big deal. Cleaning definitely needs improving. Otherwise, comfortable beds and we would consider staying again.

Good budget hotel, clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay.

Clean and good value for money overall but shocking that even a desk or floor fan is not provided in such hot weather in the absence of air conditioning. Also the lady at check in (purple hair)had terrible customer service skills.

Refused us access to our room after driving 4 hours due to them having closed the check in system electronically. Computer says no meant we had to sleep in our car. Terrible service.

Uncomfortable beds bad smell

We stayed two separate nights in different rooms. The first one had dreadfully smelly sink so each time you flushed the loo it sent an awful smell out. Cup marks on furniture, dust behind the tv and dirty window ledge - since Covid l always antibac surfaces and the wipes were dirty. I asked for a fan both nights and one was dusty and the other one it was very dirty with splashes of drinks and dust near the controls. ! Carpets stained. Positive - bed comfortable and clean. Extra pillows used Towels soft and clean Reception friendly. We didn’t have breakfast as going to our sons for grandparents duties.

I booked a double bed for my recent stay but was allocated a single bed on arrival, my room smelt very musty and the carpet was badly stained and left a lot to be desired. At 8am next morning the breakfast serving was empty with a spoonful of hard scrambled egg and an over-cooked sausage the only choice ….i will never use an IBIS again as a result of this stay!

Paige on reception is always kind and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Great hotel.

Lovely ladies on reception when arrived, plenty room to park. Rooms and hotel itself absolutely disgusting though. Needs cleaned heavily from top to bottom, carpets are a disgrace in the rooms. As are the walls etc. did for the night but wouldn't recommend any longer
