Warm welcome from staff and the good environment

Clean enough at a reasonable price. Excessive noise until after midnight; probably just one low quality guest, so maybe we were unlucky with room allocation. The fire alarm and unnecessary evacuation is probably not entirely the hotel's fault, but is likely the product of a failure to enforce regulations, particularly regarding smoking.

I have stayed at the ibis for a couple of years and never had any issues regarding my disabled daughter, I booked to stay at the ibis from Friday 14 feb to 17 Feb, I decided to extend my stay from 17 Feb to 19 Feb, I was given a Price of £118 without breakfast I was told if I pay £144 it will cover breakfast which I decided to do, on the morning of 18th Feb we came to have breakfast around 6.30 am because my disabled daughter has to eat before taking medication, to be told I have only paid for 1 person, which obviously I am going to question as I was told the previous day the amount paid covers for 3 people, when I asked the lady to look at my booking she told me she cannot see this but then looked and said it says 1 person , so the lady that took the original booking was not in work until 8 am so I was asked to come back at 8 am. When I returned to desk I was told to go and have breakfast and i am to leave and I will not be able to stay in future, when I asked why I was told I called the First Lady at the counter an idiot which is not true so I said check the cameras, and she said she has a witness That saw it, so I said what calling the lady an idiot she said no, the altercation, which means I can’t question why it says for just one person, there were visitors in reception, the lady then started to say because I leave my disabled daughters urine bags in a disposable bag tied up is wrong, I have stayed several times never been an issue not happy how they treated my family

The property was great value and on the X1 bus route to Sheffield. However, the stay was very noisy with doors banging all night and people making noise and arguing loudly in surrounding rooms which again, seemed to be all through the night. It is not so much the hotel as the clientele who seemed very inconsiderate.

The staff were very polite , but we had to go into another roon as the heating wasnt working , we moved all our possesions into another room , then the door of the new riom wasnt wirking

Basic hotel and location was good for my requirements. Is a little tired.

Stayed a few times and never had any problems, lovely clean room and very friendly and helpful staff.

Staff were very cheerful and welcoming which was very nice after a long drive. Check in and check out were efficient and pricing very reasonable. We ate in the pub next door which was both convenient and enjoyable. Easy access from the motorway. Great stop off point for one night.

Had a one night stay, the room was simple but clean and had everything we needed, warm, comfortable beds and good shower. The staff were friendly. Morrisons and McDonald's nearby

Very pleased with everything except no eggs at breakfast.! Also, the disabled parking area was a bit far to walk to the front door and would be better directly in front of the entrance.

The staff very welcoming, easy parking easy booking in, the bedroom room had both room smell when first opened the door looked clean just needs doing up as shower room looked scruffy, duvet cover on one bed was old dirty, a number of cobwebs two small spiders if the room had been cleaned these would have gone.

Booked a double room and was given a twin room. Some white powder residue on the carpet near the bed side table. Coffee/tea residue on the tea tray. Mould around the shower sealant. For £35 you get what you pay for...

I liked the ensuite shower and toilet - essential nowadays. I've given this a 4-star rating because 1. I was initially given a room that hadn't been cleaned; and 2. the heating and shower could have done with being a few degrees warmer. The replacement room I was given was fine, as was the breakfast. The price was very good value. I will consider Ibis again should the need arise.

We liked that the heaters worked so the room was nice and warm. It coild have been cleaner and room wasn't made up properly. Breakfast was awful!

Had a great time! Special shout out to Mandy who looked after us superbly - nothing was too much trouble and she really made sure our stay was a great one! We'll certainly be back!

We stayed in the Ibis hotel for one night.The room was fine and spacious enough. We had everything we needed. The room was dated and the flush for the toilets was very noisy. Apart from that, it was good. We would stay there again.
