暖房のみのエアコンの温度を下げても変わらず、暑くなりすぎたのでスイッチを切ったが稼働したまま。寝ている間は浴室のドアを開けてベッドに届く風を遮ってやりくり。 起きてからは窓を開けてようやく緩和。 昨年も同時期に利用したがこのようなことはなかった。 一泊だけだったので我慢した。

Very friendly staff and very clean room.

コンパクトな部屋でしたが、大きめのスーツケースは十分広げることができました。 シャワーの出力がとてもよく、排水も問題ありません。 ２泊以上の滞在でハウスキーピングを省略すると、ワンドリンクサービスというのは嬉しかったです。 アールズコート駅からも近いのでロケーションもよく、便利でした。

町の中心部にも徒歩圏で、トラムの停車場も近くて良かった。 朝食のビュッフェも及第点。

The room was adequate for what I needed

We had more than a few frustrations here. The biggest was that the room felt as small as an airstream trailer. The room was poorly appointed with two beds each smaller than a twin. The hotel staff was less than helpful and mostly said “no” to any request. The location seemed convenient so we booked there but would recommend somewhere else to anyone asking.

Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Great deal for a weeknight. We didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on that. Happy to keep your luggage if arriving early. Discount for car park a couple of mins walk away. All round good stay.

I recently spent four nights at this hotel in Sheffield and I would say the experience was, over all, a positive one. I was particularly impressed with the way it handled breakfast, keeping all the hot items in aluminum pots with lids on a low-heat range. The food was always hot and that matters especially when it comes to eggs. My room was small, which is probably on me because I may have forgotten to ask for a desk (my usual way of assuring that I have a little extraa space and a usable horizontal surface beyond the bed. The staff was friendly but not really engaged and not very knowledgeable when answering, say, local transit questions. This is something that I seeing more and more in the hotel chains: a "wholesale" approach to customer service. But not all chains are equal. For example, about a week after my Sheffield experience, I checked in for the same number of nights to the Mercure hotel in Perth, Scotland, and I got nothing but good local advice and answers to all my questions. It felt there as if the staff wanted to make my stay work for me. They make a point of remembering me and greeting me when I passed. My experience with Ibis Sheffield was better than a&o Manchester (don't get me started), but it cannot compete with Mercure Perth. I should also add that the hotel is downhill from pretty much everything one wants to see in Sheffield, and in that part of town there is a higher concentration of people to whom life has not dealt as good a hand as it dealt me.

In a good location decent rooms and facilities for a reasonable price. Excellent for business overnight stays

Great Location.

I stayed at this hotel for several nights; the room was clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with finding a place to park my vehicle. The parking garage is close by, not attached to the hotel and is not accessible to the public, being very secure. There were some properties in that area close to the hotel that appeared to be run down, and my feeling is that it could be unsafe at night.

Everything good Except would like to be offered a quieter room

Hotel was pretty clean and tidy, and all staff I spoke to were friendly. Only negative was the noise from outside and sink in bathroom struggled to drain away.

Good central stay though build in cost of parking

Straightforward check-in + luggage drop as we arrived early. Quite a bit of noise from trams & trains from around 6am - window didn't do a great job of blocking noise. If I were in Sheffield again, I'd probably look elsewhere to get better sleep. Good price & location though.
