ミンスタービューに泊まりましたが改装中であまりいい景色ではなかった。それを通常の価格だと不満かな。スタッフは何きいても助けてくれて親切だった。部屋は価格に見合ってない

駅からは徒歩が便利で7、8分程度。 シャンブルズなども徒歩圏内でした。 部屋はとても清潔で気持ちよく過ごせました。 フロントの方はちょっと無愛想でしたが、こんなものかなーという程度です。 コンセントの数が多く助かりました。

The room at first glance looked to be clean, well kept and of reasonable enough standard. However as the stay went on, we noticed some smaller issues, but also some really worrying issues. Smaller issues would be the TV would turn itself off randomly during the stay, a little irritating, however not a disaster. Also, the body was containers in the bathroom were also empty, so clearly not checked by housekeeping staff. Other cleanliness issues such as stains around the toilet were somewhat concerning! The major issue came on Tuesday morning when we went to make a coffee. My partner picked up the kettle to put water in but noticed that there was already liquid in the kettle. To her disgust, when she opened it there was a yellow looking liquid in the bottom which i can only say resembled urine. We did not smell it, or pour it out we simply closed the lid and informed reception who said they have never seen it before (not sorry) and said the kettle would need to be completely replaced. When we returned to the room the kettle no longer had yellow liquid in it, but clear liquid suggesting this "new" kettle was clean. However, on closer inspection I noticed this was infact the same kettle. Everything was identical tothe previous kettle, even down to the limescale in the grooves of the product. The kettle was clearly the same one!! Despite any positives we did have, these issues somewhat ruined the short break i had arranged for my partners birthday as a surprise.

Room was very comfortable but the bathroom had a terrible smell of sewage throughout our stay. Probably a plumbing issue but surprised none of the staff picked up on it.

The reception staff were so welcoming, especially Jen who welcomed us like old friends. So chatty and lovely and a such a great start to our trip. Hotel and room was clean and looked great and just what we needed. Rooms were nice and warm during this cold weather however the hallways were a bit chilly! Would absolutely recommend and will return.

We were given a free upgrade to a river view room, which was an expected delight as we could sit on the bed and gaze at York Minster! The room was warm (it was snowing outside), well-appointed and clean. On guest safety, the hotel scored big points as the lift was only operational by using the room keycard and fire escape route was clearly marked on the reverse. I could relax and enjoy my stay.

Self check-in process was woeful. Staff were all nice expect one woman who made Basil Fawlty seem welcoming. Parking was a joke. Room was fine, although the A/C was temperamental. Breakfast was good. The entire place was freezing - I know it was January but you could see your own breath indoors. We won’t be back.

Very comfortable room, breakfast was great. Whole hotel was clean. Bar overlooks the river. Location is great. Would recommend.

Room spotless, view amazing , staff were very friendly and helpful . Breakfast was great - lots of choice and organised . Parking was great and ideal.

Room could do with a good deep clean . Sink and shower backed up a lot nearly overflowed at one point

Lovely lady greeted us on reception on new years eve didnt have the upgrade room offered but she gave us complimentary drinks room nice slight smell in carpet room 612 and the duvet filling was all in a bundle inside the duvet but lovely stay nice restaraunt nice bar nice comunial areas

Just spent 2 nights here over New Year. Reception staff were nice. Paid for upgrade on 8th floor. Room was clean but problems. Sink didn't drain away. No tv remote . Rubber seal on door frame falling off. No bathrobes or slippers. No bottled water.

Great hotel in a great position so you can get all the site seeing in. Our room was a river view standard room very clean. We opted for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint good choice of food from a cooked breakfast, to cereal and even cake. Would definitely stay again One thing I would recommend is if you want to park at the hotel there’s limited spaces so turn up early when check out is and leave your bags at the hotel and go and enjoy a walk round York then go back and check in.

Room was brilliant, river and cathedral views, staff really helpful and friendly. Great location would definitely recommend

Great staff, clean and comfy room. Requested extra desk lite and did not have to ask twice! Just appeared! Loves the call and collect and great pizza!

Hotel in good location for shops, restaurants, bars and train station. Stayed in room only basis so cannot comment on breakfast! Lighting in room dreadful far too dark for drying hair!! Also maintenance work going on (notice in lift not advised when booking) so shower cold 2 out of the 3 times used!! Did mention at check out but girl on reception not remotely interested just charged £40 for parking car for two nights!!
