Location excellent, a short walk from Train Station and a Short walk into York City Centre. Breakfast excellent and room cleaned daily. The only disappointment was our room was street side and the noise from outside during the night was excessive. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs or book a riverside room. Rooms street side really need a better sound proofing.

Check in very impersonal - check in via machine, 2 staff stood there don't even say hello or lift their heads or wish you an enjoyable stay. Room very dark, would not be able to work at desk due to this. Otherwise fine, comfy bed, good location.
