I paid for a superior room, no noticeable difference between this room and a standard room. Room was relatively clean, however felt that the more you looked around the room, the more unclean it was, for example the bathroom and under the bed.
The staff were excellent especially at breakfast who were very courteous and approachable. The breakfast was very good value with a huge selection of offerings.
Overall, the Hotel Radisson I thought was in a good location, however is dated especially the exterior.

Location excellent, a short walk from Train Station and a Short walk into York City Centre. Breakfast excellent and room cleaned daily. The only disappointment was our room was street side and the noise from outside during the night was excessive. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs or book a riverside room. Rooms street side really need a better sound proofing.

Great location in city centre overlooking the river. The room was a reasonable size, clean & comfortable however the pillows were very firm. The breakfast was lovely & the extended opening hours on Saturday were ideal meaning we didn’t need to rush down. The staff were all friendly & helpful. The drink prices in the hotel bar were overly expensive.

Check in very impersonal - check in via machine, 2 staff stood there don't even say hello or lift their heads or wish you an enjoyable stay. Room very dark, would not be able to work at desk due to this. Otherwise fine, comfy bed, good location.
