I had comfortable time. Famous supermarket is near here and fish&chips restaurant too.

Lift was very slow, walking the stairs was quicker, bed was not so comfortable

Internet was OK, no problems, room was clean and staff great as always.

Friendly staff, clean tidy room, great location for the train station into London

Rooms very clean , cheeky asking £10 to park the car but other than that was good

The hotel was clean and the staff were polite and helpful. Great location for us. The room was good but quite cold when we were there. The hotel provided an electric radiator and extra duvet so we were happy :)

Check in was terrible in that photo ID is demanded despite having provided a credit card. As a UK citizen I don’t carry my passport or driving license when I am not driving so to be told I couldn’t check in was bizarre. Eventually as a one time “special “ and grudgingly they did agree to finally check me in. There is no bar , no food other than breakfast and no communal area other than a small seating area just off reception. The room was cold and the noisy air con system failed to get the room warm for several hours despite being set to heat at 30 degree temperature. Check out was even more bizarre with a note left on reception asking you to simply leave your key on the reception desk. A complete reversal of the intrusive check in procedure and no chance of a VAT receipt or any human interaction at all. This hotel could be so much better with some common sense and attention to detail.

Good for short stay, easy parking

La chambre était propre et le lit confortable. Personnel agréable Petit déjeuner bon mais dommage qu’il n’y avait pas plus de choix.

Excellent staff, very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Room was a bit tired, but clean and well presented. Our room was on the roadside and a bit noisy. Great access to the local train station and onsite parking is secure. Restaurant and bar was nice with nice menu.

The room absolutely stank of BO and there were pubes in the bathroom. There was also a half used bottle of baby oil in the drawer which was lovely.

Good hotel, good price, good location

Room was clean and as expected. Reception staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Ideal location for our needs. It is difficult to give a fair review as we were only there for a few hours prior to our overnight stay.

Staff were great, hotel rooms are awful, wallpaper hanging off the walls, dirty carpets, 1980s decor, dated bathroom with shower that trickles, paper thin windows! I got up a few times in the night and actually checked I hadn’t left the window open!! Rooms need some serious tlc!

Room very clean, bathroom clean. Bed comfortable. All staff very helpful and polite. Restaurant well laid out but menu a bit restricted.

The room was one of the worst we’ve ever had the displeasure in staying in, it might have been clean but it was very dated with a grubby bathroom. The room was very cold and only because I complained, they gave us a portable heater that we left on for the duration of our stay, but no one came out to check the heating.
