Clean room. Staff courteous and helpful. Good food. Nice oldy worldy,rustic and traditional both inside and out.

Lovely room, nice food and very courteous staff!

Bathroom a bit tired, mould around the windows, no air vents in room. Bed not comfortable. Also had a power cut while I was in the bath, no body came round ti check or advise.

The little cation and tranquility of the place is to die for It is very clean and you appreciate the attention to detail.It has this vintage modern vibe that just makes you relax.I especially enjoyed relaxing in the drawing room with a drink. I enjoyed my stay

Hive location, Good food, sometimes "hit or miss" with the quality of the room's However I think they are slowly refurbishing them.

The room that I was in suffered from 'bad positioning', being open to the reception area and the bar. The noise didn't settle down until late. Then, the really poor sound-proofing meant that the snoring person in the adjoining room kept me awake - it sounded like they were in the same room as me. At some point, during the night, they got up and moved around making more than enough noise with creaking floorboards. I got very little sleep on the first night and even less on the second night. I did mention it on checking out, but an apology doesn't make up for lost sleep. I stay in many hotels for business, and this experience ranks as one of the worst for noise.

Plenty of car parking spaces. Check in was quick and easy, All the staff were helpful and friendly.

Plenty of parking, lovely old manor, room excellent, some decoration taking place in bar area when we arrived. Can see a lot of upgrading has taken place the last couple of years. Excellent service by all staff. Lovely room overlooking garden with access to outside area for us and our dog. Very dog friendly

Having nobody on reception after 10pm is not great
