10/10. Staff had everything sorted quickly hassle free. Beautiful reception area with open fire blazing. Cozy room and comfy bed. Would stay again for sure

Hive location, Good food, sometimes "hit or miss" with the quality of the room's However I think they are slowly refurbishing them.

The room that I was in suffered from 'bad positioning', being open to the reception area and the bar. The noise didn't settle down until late. Then, the really poor sound-proofing meant that the snoring person in the adjoining room kept me awake - it sounded like they were in the same room as me. At some point, during the night, they got up and moved around making more than enough noise with creaking floorboards. I got very little sleep on the first night and even less on the second night. I did mention it on checking out, but an apology doesn't make up for lost sleep. I stay in many hotels for business, and this experience ranks as one of the worst for noise.

Plenty of car parking spaces. Check in was quick and easy, All the staff were helpful and friendly.

Plenty of parking, lovely old manor, room excellent, some decoration taking place in bar area when we arrived. Can see a lot of upgrading has taken place the last couple of years. Excellent service by all staff. Lovely room overlooking garden with access to outside area for us and our dog. Very dog friendly

Having nobody on reception after 10pm is not great

I didn't have a car, but if I did, parking there would have been easy.

Beautiful manor in the country. The bed was comfortable and the room was lovely. Breakfast in the restaurant was fantastic. This is a great place to stay.

For such a grand looking place my room was in need of serious maintenance - shower barely worked, the window did not close, general condition was tired. Very noisy during night due to being near bins or store? with staff accessing at 3am on noisy gravel drive. Could also hear adjacent room and corridor easily.

Good food in the garden, nice to see the rooms ( or the one I dad) had been renovated. It's a great place and I stay about 6 times a year, some of the rooms were looking and feeling tired so fingers crossed they are now spending some money on the place. Service and food always been spot on.
